Police Blotter

November 29

2:08 a.m. A message was left for DPW about a dead opossum in the roadway on Curve Street.

8:30 a.m. A missing animal was found okay on Bedford Road.

12:32 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at School Street and the Spalding Building.

12:51 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Patch Meadow Lane.

1:54 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on West Street.

2:19 p.m. A 911 misdial at the library was confirmed accidental.

5 p.m. A dog missing from a Bedford Road residence was found.

5:53 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious person on East Street and the individual checked okay.

November 30

2:39 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Bingham Road.

10:56 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a loose dog on Robbins Drive.

1:34 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle with no one around at North and Pine Brook Roads. A warning was issued.

5:54 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

8:11 p.m. Patrol assisted on Berry Corner Road where there was a parent/child dispute. A missing child was found okay.

9:15 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a barking dog complaint on Estabrook Road.

December 1

7:15 a.m. The Dog Officer investigated a report of two dogs in the roadway at Brook Street and East Riding Drive and had a negative find.

10:03 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Westford Street.

10:56 a.m. A Russell Street resident reported a possible scam.

2:47 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Hutchins Road.

7:03 p.m. Patrol moved a tree that fell across the roadway on Brook Street.

8:12 p.m. A person riding a bike without lights at Lowell and Curve Streets was returned to the parent.

December 2

7:14 a.m. Police assisted a Laurelwood Drive resident with a legal question.

1:43 p.m. Plates removed from a Rocky Point resident’s vehicle when insurance was cancelled were returned when the insurance was reactivated.

3:32 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a truck causing a hazard on Concord Street and found the situation checked okay.

6:11 p.m. DPW was notified of a deer hit by a car at Bedford Road and Brook Street.

9:30 p.m. Patrol stopped an erratic operator on Concord Street and the person checked okay.

December 3

9 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a gun shot heard on Garnet Rock Lane and had a negative find.

10:05 a.m. Patrol advised the operator of a Verizon truck in the roadway on Lowell Street.

12:21 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Baldwin Road where a lift assist was needed.

2:36 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious truck on Russell Street and it checked okay.

6:22 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Church Street.

December 4

2:42 a.m. Area check of Hemlock Hill and Oak Knoll Roads.

8:27 a.m. Patrol made a well being check on Church Street.

10 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious male on Hartwell Road and had a negative find.

10:02 a.m. Several cars parked illegally on Church Street checked okay.

11:02 a.m. An East Riding Drive resident reported a lost passport.

12 p.m. Patrol assisted with traffic for a funeral at Green Cemetery.

1:42 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the ski barn on Lowell Street in the recovery of a dog that had become stuck in a drain and drowned.

2:39 p.m. An injured deer on Cutter’s Ridge Road was euthanized.

December 5

9:11 p.m. Police investigated a burglar alarm received from a Bedford Road business and found the situation appeared secure. ∆

9:09 a.m. Investigation of non-emergency explosion of transformer on Rutland Street. NSTAR was notified.

11:06 a.m. Odor investigation on Maple Street. This was a natural gas leak.

November 29

12:32 p.m. Medical emergency on School Street. A 59-year-old woman was transported to the Emerson Hospital.

1:55 p.m. Medical emergency on West Street. A man who fell refused transport.

November 30

2:38 a.m. Medical emergency on Bingham Road. Transport refused by parents. ∆
