Carlisle athletes make outstanding contributions to fall varsity sports: Concord-Carlisle field hockey finishes successful season

The girls varsity field hockey team at Concord-Carlisle High School had an excellent season, finishing sixth in Division 1 North. Biodiversity Corner : False Chanterelle

Pity the False Chanterelle. It is named for what it is not. It has a rhythmic mellifluous binomial, Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca, which is by definition unique to the species, but in this case doesn’t truly honor the mushroom’s identity. Record number of runners turn out for Carlisle cross-country season

With 105 runners representing grades five through eight, the Carlisle cross-country team had the largest turn- out in the history of the program!
