Police Blotter

November 9

2:04 a.m. Patrol removed a tree branch from the Westford Street roadway.

7:03 a.m. Three to four gunshots were heard in the Bedford/Skelton Road area. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

7:30 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree on wires going to a home on Sunset Road.

2:48 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on Hartwell Road and had a negative find.

7:21 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Rutland Street where fire alarms were sounding.

11:18 p.m. Patrol assisted Chelmsford police to look for an Alzheimers patient who had driven off in a car; the individual was subsequently located in their own driveway.

November 10

12:01 p.m. A Westford Street resident reported unauthorized use of a credit card.

2:08 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Curve Street.

3:51 p.m. A parking ticket with a fine was issued to a suspicious motor vehicle on Mill Pond Lane.

4:21 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

6:39 p.m. A traffic hazard at Cross and South Streets was moved.

November 11

12:53 a.m. A check was made of the Nowell Farme Road and Long Ridge Road area.

1:10 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree branch on a primary wire at North Road and Aldershot Lane.

10:37 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a past dog bite on Maple Street.

11:16 a.m. A boxer dog was found at Fiske Street and the Chelmsford Line. The Dog Officer was notified and the boxer returned to its owner.

3:18 p.m. An East Street resident reported harassing phone calls.

3:48 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree leaning on a wire.

4:31 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway on Laurelwood Drive and it checked okay.

5:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic operator at Curve Street and Hutchins Road and had a negative find.

6:43 p.m. Suspicious motor vehicles reported at North Road and the Visitor’s Center left before patrol arrived at the scene.

8:01 p.m. DPW was notified of an animal struck by a vehicle at Westford Street and the Westford line.

10:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Judy Farm Road.

November 12

2:41 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at North Road and Rutland Street and it checked okay.

2:52 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Lowell Street and Elizabeth Ridge Road. It was subsequently towed because the registration had expired.

4:23 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a vehicle with flashers and driver slumped over the wheel at Westford Street and Rockland Road and had a negative find.

November 13

4:48 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Curve Street.

7:15 a.m. A Westford Street resident made a noise complaint and was advised.

8:09 a.m. A Russell Street resident requested DPW and DPW was advised.

2:05 p.m. A minor vehicle accident occurred at Autumn Lane and Robbins Drive. There were no injuries.

4:11 p.m. A suspicious wood pile reported in the woods near Evergreen Lane and Forest Park Drive checked okay. It was believed to be a pile of brush.

10:53 p.m. Juveniles engaged in horseplay on the bridge on Maple Street near the Billerica line were found to be returning home.

11:08 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious light reported by a Hutchins Road resident and had a negative find.

November 14

1:13 a.m. A dead fox in the roadway on Westford Street was cleared off the road and a message left for DPW.

3:02 a.m. A parking violation ticket with a fine was issued for a vehicle on Acton Street.

8:27 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a power outage on Martin Street.

8:44 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a branch on a wire on Curve Street.

10:49 a.m. A suspicious vehicle at River Road and Nowell Farme Road checked okay.

11:30 a.m. Patrol investigated an audible alarm on Maple Street; it checked okay.

12:57 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint against a bicyclist at Bedford and River Roads.

5:52 p.m. A Virginia Farme Lane resident made a noise complaint; patrol had a negative find.

7:15 p.m. The operator of a suspicious vehicle at North Road and the Canoe Launch was advised to move on.

9:33 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of gun shots on East Street and had a negative find. ∆

3:32 p.m. Alarm investigation on Indian Hill. Burner malfunction.

November 9

7:19 p.m. Alarm investigation on Rutland Street. Malfunction of the fire alarm system.

November 10

2:10 p.m. Alarm investigation on Curve Street. Caused by burnt food.

Novmber 11

9:59 p.m. Medical emergency on Judy Farm Road. A 40-year-old male was transported to Emerson Hospital with ALS.

November 14

4:49 a.m. Medical emergency on Curve Street. Patient refused transport. ∆
