Police Blotter

October 4

3:08 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of erratic vehicle operation at Lowell Street and the Chelmsford line and had a negative find.

3:15 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm sounding on East Street and had a negative find.

9:26 a.m. A Maple Street resident reported a dog had killed some of her chickens; the Dog Officer was notified.

9:35 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree on wires on Bingham Road.

2:28 p.m. A possibly sick fox on Robbins Drive was put down; it was picked up by DPW.

3:28 p.m. The school requested extra passes by patrol because of past illegal parking.

5:20 p.m. A Kimball Road resident contacted the station for legal advice.

5:55 p.m. A North Road resident contacted the station about property found in Chelmsford and thought to be marijuana.

October 5

9:02 a.m. A suspicious male at Banta Davis field checked okay.

9:29 a.m. A Bedford Road resident reported a stolen license plate.

3:00 p.m. Patrol assisted with traffic at School Street and the Spalding Building.

3:25 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Old North Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

9:24 p.m. A possible gun shot was heard on Brook Street; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

October 6

12:34 a.m. DPW removed a tree in the roadway at Bedford and Skelton Roads.

5:46 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree hanging over the roadway on East Street.

10:32 a.m. Patrol advised the operator of a paving truck in the roadway on South Street.

10:39 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a wire fire and power outage at Davis Road and Maple Street.

11:27 a.m. DPW was notified of a tree on phone wires at West Street and Log Hill Road.

11:28 a.m. DPW removed a tree blocking the roadway at Lowell Street and Proctor Road.

11:55 a.m. Patrol assisted on Pine Brook Road where there was a possibly sick squirrel.

12:00 noon. Patrol advised the operator of a vehicle blocking the roadway on Acton Street.

12:02 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at Westford Street and Towle Field and found AAA was en route.

2:05 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a safety hazard created by branches down at North and Pine Brook Roads and had a negative find.

3:06 p.m. DPW was notified of a tree blocking South Street.

6:39 p.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey.

October 7

11:26 a.m. A warning ticket was issued for a parking violation at School Street and Spalding Field.

1:00 p.m. A power outage occurred on Fiske Street.

1:02 p.m. Patrol secured an unsecured house on Judy Farm Road; a card was left.

1:41 p.m. A Billerica resident was stopped on Bedford Road and his car towed because of a revoked registration.

2:56 p.m. A resident reported a past fail to yield at the Rotary.

2:59 p.m. Patrol assisted at School Street and Spalding Field where there was a track meet.

3:06 p.m. Patrol issued a ticket with a fine for a parking violation at School Street and Spalding Field.

3:26 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Westford Street at the scene of a fire alarm.

4:00 p.m. Patrol covered a road race at School Street and the Carlisle schools.

7:13 p.m. A summons was served on Indian Hill Road.

7:20 p.m. A Berry Corner Road resident reported dogs in the yard; the Dog Officer was advised.

8:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Autumn Lane at the scene of a fire alarm.

October 8

7:06 a.m. DPW was notified of a dead deer on the side of Bedford Road and Foss Way.

8:47 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a loose dog at Curve Street and the bogs; the owner was located.

10:13 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of loose dogs on Berry Corner Road.

2:23 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious person at Bedford Road and Foss Field; the individual checked okay.

2:47 p.m. Patrol made a parking enforcement run at School Street and the Carlisle Public Schools and found no violations.

5:39 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at a school function at Bedford Road and Banta-Davis Field.

October 9

1:37 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Curve Street and the bogs and found two minors with alcohol; legal action is contemplated.

6:42 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from the school; the situation appeared secure.

7:22 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from the school; the situation appeared secure.

8:26 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a Lifeline activation on Church Street.

11:31 a.m. Patrol issued a warning ticket for a parking violation at Church and School Streets.

11:34 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Westford Street.

12:13 p.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a dog complaint on Berry Corner Road.

1:45 p.m. Patrol advised at the scene of a neighbor dispute on Maple Street.

5:58 p.m. A South Street resident contacted the station for legal advice.

7:50 p.m. A South Street resident reported a past vandalized mailbox.

October 10

8:07 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a missing dog on Fiske Street; the dog was found.

4:57 p.m. Three horses reported running down the road at Bedford Road and Brook Street were returned to their home.

6:14 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a motorcycle or mini bike seen going into the State Park and had a negative find.

Police update:

A Probable Cause hearing was held at the Middlesex Court in Concord for persons from at least four towns involved in an underage drinking party on East Street on July 31. The hearing was closed and no information is available except that the cases heard were settled out of court and that hearings for those who could not be present will be scheduled at a later date.∆
