4:09 a.m. Patrol investigated suspicious activity on Brook Street; a garage door opening and closing was determined to be a malfunction.
12:51 p.m. A citation was issued in response to a traffic complaint about speeding and failure to yield at the Rotary.
7:53 p.m. A bat was removed from a house on Evergreen Lane.
12:14 a.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey in the town.
7:28 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Fern Lane at the scene of a medical emergency.
8:42 a.m. The operator of a moving truck blocking the roadway on Bedford Road was advised.
6 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.
7:11 a.m. A message was left for a Carlisle resident whose vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run in Bedford.
5:32 p.m. A Cross Street resident complained about a dog on their property; the Dog Officer was advised.
8:18 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at East and Rutland Streets and found the vehicle was out of fuel.
12:58 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Lowell Street and it appeared okay.
1:08 a.m. A suspicious vehicle at Lowell Street and the ski barn checked okay.
8:04 a.m. A traffic hazard at Curve Street and Forest Park Drive was cleared to the side of the road.
9:47 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bedford Road.
11:17 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a dead tree on wires at Bedford and Skelton Roads.
11:57 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of baby strollers two abreast at Lowell and Curve Streets and had a negative find.
3:04 p.m. A two-car accident occurred at River and Skelton Roads.
7:49 p.m. Carlisle Police assisted Billerica Police in looking for a breaking and entering suspect at the Greenough Land parking lot on Maple Street.
9:10 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Heald Road.
2:00 a.m. Patrol made a check of the Lowell Street and Old North Road area.
7:29 a.m. Patrol assisted at a school bus evacuation drill at the Carlisle Public School.
7:57 a.m. A minor two-car accident occurred at Lowell Street and North Road.
8:01 a.m. Two children’s car seats were installed at the station.
2:10 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Rutland Street and it checked okay.
8:46 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a property dispute at Rocky Point.
2 a.m. Patrol made a check of the area from River Road to the Concord line.
8:51 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a dog found and at the station.
9:06 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported two dogs got loose.
8:45 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a power outage on Rockland Road.
11:09 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Hutchins Road.
11:12 a.m. A warning parking ticket was issued for a vehicle at Curve and Fiske Streets.
12:17 p.m. The Dog Officer was advised of loose dogs on Maple Street.
2:22 p.m. The erratic operation of a vehicle at Westford Street and the Curve Street flats was reported to police.
8:42 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported at Hartwell Road and the Concord line; Patrol investigated and had a negative find.
Police update: Lowell police have arrested Jose Rivera of Dracut on a Carlisle warrant. Rivera was one of two men sought on attempted breaking and entering on Heald Road Friday, September 3 (See Mosquito, 9-10- 10, “Resident and police team up to nab suspect”). His partner, Stephen Abrams, of Lowell was arrested in that town on September 3. ∆
