MSBA Chairman gives verbal green light to major CCHS renovation

Fire Department cistern contract awarded

At the September 8 Selectmen’s meeting a contract was awarded to C. Naughton Corporation of Weymouth to install a 40,000 gallon fire protection cistern at the Fire Station. The Carlisle Board of Health (BOH) voted to submit their application on August 31 to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a state-funded low-interest loan to finance a Town Center sewer project. Soldier Ride stops in Carlisle

A huge crowd of cycling enthusiasts and supporters of the Soldier Ride for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) took a break in the center of Carlisle on Saturday, September 4. Carlisle Trails Committee considers request for circular viewing platform

The Trails Committee and members of the Carlisle Conservation Foundation (CCF) on August 6 discussed a proposed joint project to build a 100-foot boardwalk and viewing platform over wetlands in the rear of the Benfield Land.
