Police break up party, find alcohol, underage guests

When Carlisle Police responded to a complaint of noise at an East Street residence shortly after midnight on July 31, they discovered a party where alcohol was present, along with 17 youths under the legal drinking age of 21. According to police, the party was hosted by two residents aged 21 and 31. The underage guests were from a number of towns. Four were Carlisle residents.

As was reported in the July 30 Mosquito, hosts as well as underage guests may face legal consequences when guests under age 21 consume alcohol.
