July 26

7:37 a.m. Patrol investigated suspicious activity at Curve Street and the bogs and found damage to the bog embankment. The responsible party was notified.

8:43 a.m. A South Street resident reported possible door tampering. Patrol investigated and the situation checked okay.

10:36 a.m. A well-being check was made at School Street and Baldwin Road.

11:32 a.m. The operator of a Verizon truck parked in the roadway at Bedford Road and Stoney Gate was advised.

11:41 a.m. An eight-year-old operating a tractor on Heald Road and pulling other youths in back of the tractor was advised.

3:41 p.m. A parking violation ticket and a warning were issued at Lowell Street and North Road.

7:00 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.
7:05 p.m. A resident contacted the station to report suspicious phone calls and was advised.

7:06 p.m. A possibly sick raccoon was reported at Curve Street and the bogs. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

7:21 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious person on Lowell Street and had a negative find.

10:18 p.m. A neighbor dispute on Autumn Lane was resolved by the parties involved.

11:48 p.m. Parkers at the ice cream stand on Bedford Road were advised.

July 27

8:00 a.m. A Click-it-or-ticket traffic enforcement operation began at 8 a.m. and ended at 11:10 a.m. 11 vehicles were stopped.

10:01 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of an odor investigation on Martin Street.

11:37 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check on Baldwin Road.

1:29 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on School Street and it checked okay.

4:00 p.m. Patrol checked on a disabled vehicle on Lowell Street and found help was on the way.

4:09 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a West Street residence and found the site appeared secure.

4:22 p.m. A Click-it-or-ticket traffic enforcement began at 4:22 p.m. and concluded at 7:21 p.m. There were 12 stops.

6:28 p.m. A North Road resident reported suspicious mail.

6:49 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

6:51 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Cross Street residence and found the situation appeared secure.

8:40 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and East Street and determined AAA was enroute.

9:34 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported on Acton Street and had a negative find.

11:21 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at the Kimballs ice cream stand on Bedford Road.

2:40 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from an Autumn Lane residence and found the situation appeared secure.

5:22 p.m. Patrol was present at the scene of a domestic dispute on North Road.

7:00 pm. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

July 29

3:39 p.m. Patrol made a medical well-being check at School Street and Baldwin Road.

5:32 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a possible hit deer at Concord Street and the Concord line and had a negative find.

6:31 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of bicyclists riding abreast at River Road and the Concord line and had a negative find.

July 30

1:29 a.m. Juveniles were caught ringing a door bell on Suffolk Lane.

2:08 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle with no one around at Spalding Field and Church Street.

7:07 a.m. Burglar alarm activation at Church Street and the Corey Building was confirmed accidental.

7:21 a.m. Glasses and keys found at Curve Street and the bogs were tagged and brought to the lost and found at the station.

8:00 a.m. A selective enforcement operation began at 8 a.m. and concluded at 11:30 a.m. Nine vehicles were stopped.

9:59 a.m. The operator of a vehicle stopped at Westford and School Street in the traffic enforcement operation will be summonsed for operating without a license.

10:59 a.m. A Craigie Circle resident made a sex offender inquiry.

11:02 a.m. Patrol checked on a burglar alarm received from a Nathan Lane residence and found the site appeared secure.

11:32 a.m. An Orchard Acres Drive resident contacted the station for legal advice.

12:17 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on West Street.

12:19 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Lowell Street.

2:37 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a motorcycle accident on Lowell Street.

3:29 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at the library.

7:55 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a possibly sick fox at Westford and Curve Streets and had a negative find.

8:13 p.m. A 911 hang-up call was confirmed accidental.

10:06 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Oak Knoll Road.

11:35 p.m. A suspicious vehicle at Church Street and the Corey lot was advised to move along.

July 31

12:12 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a loud party on East Street and found 17 underage youths and two young adults partying and consuming alcohol. The two adults were charged under the social host law.

10:29 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Lowell Street.

11:35 a.m. A bike patrol was made at the state park on Lowell Street.

2:03 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Koning Farm Road where there was an appliance problem.

2:49 p.m. A Rutland Street resident reported a past damaged newspaper box.

9:50 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm activation at an Autumn Lane residence and found the situation appeared secure.

10:34 p.m. Patrol investigated suspicious activity reported on Lowell Street and found the situation checked okay.

August 1

3:51 a.m. Patrol investigated a hit- and-run accident on South Street; the vehicle was on the side of the road and the operator left the scene. The operator was subsequently located and will be charged.

9:10 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Virginia Farme Lane.

11:13 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Westford Street residence and found the site appeared secure.

1:13 p.m. An abandoned 911 call from an East Riding Drive residence was confirmed accidental.

4:08 p.m. A burglar alarm received from a Bedford Road residence was investigated and checked okay.

5:14 p.m. A Hemlock Hill Road resident reported the neighbor’s door open and no one around. Patrol investigated and the site checked okay.

5:38 p.m. A burglar alarm received from a Robbins Drive residence was cleared. The cause was unknown.

6:39 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Westford Street.

11:04 p.m. Patrol investigated a barking dog complaint on Estabrook Road and had a negative find.

August 2

6:23 a.m. A Pine Brook Road resident contacted the station for legal advice.

7:42 a.m. Patrol investigated burglar alarm activation at a Hart Farm Road residence and found the site appeared secure.

11:01 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a North Road residence and found the situation appeared secure.

11:28 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Skelton Road.

2:03 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of dogs on the road on East Street.

2:25 p.m. A summons was served in hand on North Road.

5:15 p.m. A dog was found on Kimball Road and the Dog Officer notified.

6:21 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a dog running in and out of the road at Westford Street and Hanover Road and had a negative find.

7:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road.

7:15 p.m. A 911 hang-up call from a Skelton Road residence checked okay.

August 3

1:04 a.m. Mutual aid was given to Acton police seeking a Carlisle resident who fled the scene of a vehicle accident in that town. Patrol had a negative find and the individual was subsequently located by Acton police.

5:25 a.m. A box alarm was received from the library on Bedford Road.

6:54 a.m. A Prospect Street resident reported dogs were possibly attacking walkers. Patrol checked the situation and found there was no attack.

8:08 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a branch touching the wire at West Street and the Concord line.

11:16 a.m. A 911 hang-up call from Curve Street was confirmed accidental.

3:44 p.m. An East Riding Drive resident reported past property damage.

4:00 p.m. A burglar alarm received from Church Street and the Corey building was determined to be accidental.

4:46 p.m. A disabled vehicle on Westford Street reported to be waiting for AAA.

9:11 p.m. A Berry Corner Road resident complained about a vehicle with a loud exhaust.

August 4

1:12 a.m. Patrol made an area check of the Autumn Lane/Robbins Drive area.

1:17 a.m. Patrol assisted on Maple Street where suspicious activity was reported on the Greenough land.

2:08 a.m. Patrol checked the East Street/Maple Street area.

8:53 a.m. A burglar alarm received from a Woodridge Road residence was determined to be accidental.

10:19 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check at Bedford Road and East Street and had a negative find.

12:50 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a smoke report at Lowell and Curve Streets.

2:32 p.m. A bicycle abandoned at South Street and Heald Road was brought to the station and tagged.

2:40 p.m. A well-being check on a resident at North Road and Rutland Street was okay.

8:32 p.m. Patrol removed a bat from a Virginia Farme basement.

10:44 p.m. Patrol removed branches in the roadway at Westford and Curve Streets.

11:10 p.m. A School Street resident contacted the station for legal advice.

August 5

12:52 a.m. Patrol investigated suspicious activity reported on Old North Road and found the situation checked okay.

1:03 a.m. Patrol made an area check of the Curve Street/Fiske Street area.

1:47 a.m. Patrol made a check of the South Street/Heald Road area.

7:07 a.m. Patrol assisted on Rutland Street where a vehicle was stuck on rocks.

10:52 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Rutland Street residence and found the scene appeared secure.

12:16 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a vehicle blocking the road at Prospect Street and River Road and had a negative find.

1:52 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at East Street and Rutland Street; the operator will be summonsed for operation with a suspended license and the vehicle was towed.

2:46 p.m. A burglar alarm from a Curve Street residence was determined to be accidental.

4:07 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious person at Spalding Field and Church Street and had a negative find.

5:18 p.m. A McAllister Drive resident complained about construction noise and was advised.

8:02 p.m. Patrol assisted the Acton police; they were looking for a theft suspect who is a Carlisle resident.

8:26 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on East Riding Drive.

August 6

12:56 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Nathan Lane residence and found the situation appeared secure.

8:57 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check at Concord Street and Indian Hill Road and had a negative find.

9:05 a.m. An abandoned 911 call from an Elizabeth Ridge Road residence was confirmed accidental.

9:44 a.m. A Rutland Street resident reported past property damage.

10:14 a.m. DPW was advised of vandalism on Maple Street.

10:31 a.m. Patrol checked on a burglar alarm from a Rutland Street residence; the situation seemed secure.

2:04 p.m. Appliance fire on Koning Farm Road. Flames were reported coming from the dishwasher; the fire was extinguished before the Fire Department arrived.

6:37 p.m. Medical emergency on Westford Street. Patient in car on side of Westford Street was transported to the Emerson Hospital.

11:27 a.m. Medical emergency on Skelton Road. Patient refused transport to the hospital.

5:24 a.m. Master box alarm received from the library. Apparent malfunction.

1:04 p.m. Investigation by officer at Lowell and Curve Streets which changed to a mutual aid to Chelmsford for a five- acre brush fire on the northwest side of the cranberry bog off of Elm Street in Chelmsford.

11:22 a.m. Alarm investigation on Bedford Road. This was a malfunction.

August 7

7:45 a.m. Motor vehicle accident at the Rotary in the center. A mutual aid engine was called for and cancelled and the occupants refused transport by the ambulance. ∆
