June 28

12:24 a.m. A disabled vehicle at Westford and Curve Streets was towed by AAA.

5:23 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Bedford Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

7:22 a.m. DPW was notified of tree branches in the road on Rutland Street.

9:04 a.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

10:30 a.m. A tree branch was moved to the roadside at Curve Street and the Bog House.

10:47 a.m. A tree branch was moved to the side of the road on West Street.

12:28 p.m. A Maple Street resident reported lost prescription glasses.

1:57 p.m. A rollover accident occurred on Bedford Road. The operator was transported to the hospital by Life Flight (See Mosquito Story, page 1, July 2).

8:48 p.m. Two suspicious persons on Lowell Street checked okay.

10:29 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Concord Street.

June 29

6:19 a.m. Dispatch notified the Dog Officer of a dog-barking complaint on Long Ridge Road.

7:48 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a dog blocking traffic at West and South Streets; the dog owner was notified and planned to go for the dog.

9:49 a.m. A parking warning was issued for a vehicle parked at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot.

10:28 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of an injured raccoon on Bedford Road and had a negative find.

10:31 a.m. Patrol found a dog in the road at West and South Streets and took it home.

2:06 p.m. A cat was found on Swanson Way.

2:33 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a box alarm at School Street and the First Religious Society.

2:44 p.m. An injured raccoon on Bedford Road was put down.

3:54 p.m. A Brook Street resident reported a dog that ran away; the Dog Officer was notified.

4:58 p.m. A resident came to the station for a firearms application.

5:44 p.m. An officer investigated a report of a shattered passenger window

on Maple Street vehicle and had a negative find.

5:44 p.m. A 911 call from Rockland Road was confirmed accidental.

June 30

2:54 a.m. Patrol advised persons at a loud party at Russell Street and Robbins Lane.

10 a.m. AAA was called for a disabled vehicle on Westford Street.

10:55 a.m. AAA was called for a disabled vehicle in the center.

1:38 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic operator on Westford Street and located and stopped the vehicle.

1:59 p.m. Patrol advised parkers at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot to move along.

2:45 p.m. Patrol assisted a bicyclist at Bedford Road and East Street.

6:31 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from Oak Knoll Road and found the property appeared secure.

7 p.m. A disabled vehicle was reported on Hanover Road.

7:46 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Spencer Brook Lane residence and reported the property appeared secure.

10:27 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Judy Farm Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

July 1

9:19 a.m. A Concord Street resident reported a past larceny. A table and chairs were taken from a porch and a barrel with plants in it was also taken. The incident is under investigation.

3:29 p.m. Dispatch notified the Dog Officer of a dog in the road at South and West Streets.

4:05 p.m. A residential alarm on Rutland Street was set off accidentally by painters.

5:49 p.m. Police are investigating a residential housebreak on East Street. (See article, page 1).

10:52 p.m. A resident requested a well-being check on a family member with a medical problem. A GPS check indicated the individual was in Chelmsford. Police in that town found the individual who was okay.

July 2

12:58 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Davis Road residence and found the site appeared secure.

8:20 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a sick raccoon on Brook Street and found the situation checked okay.

8:26 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Woodbine Road residence and determined the site was secure.

July 3

12:04 p.m. A resident was involved in a vehicle accident on Elizabeth Ridge Road. One person was transported to the hospital and the operator was given a written warning.

4:33 p.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a vehicle accident at Concord Street and Audubon Lane. The operator was cited for failure to yield and a passenger refused transport to the hospital.

10:15 p.m. Patrol investigated an unlocked door on East Street.

11:37 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a loud party and a barking dog at Stearns Street and Rodgers Road and advised the persons at the scene.

July 4

10:01 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Overlook Drive. The site appeared secure.

10:46 a.m. Patrol investigated an open door on Hutchins Road and found the site checked okay.

11:41 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on East Street.

July 5

12:30 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on South Street. It was caused by an open door, which was secured.

6:32 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Westford Street.

8:23 a.m. A power outage on Old East Street was caused when a breaker was tripped.

8:29 a.m. A well-being check was made on Church Street.

10:06 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Overlook Drive; the scene appeared secure.

1:31 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Davis Road and found the situation appeared secure.

6:29 p.m. Patrol investigated suspicious activity reported on Church Street and found the situation checked okay.

10:42 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle with no one around at Bedford Road and Foss Farm.

July 6

2:26 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on East Riding Drive where there was carbon monoxide alarm activation and carbon monoxide symptoms.

7:34 p.m. A well-being check was made at the library.

10:13 p.m. Police received a barking dog complaint from a Long Ridge Road resident.

10:15 p.m. A burglar alarm received from an Overlook Drive resident was determined to have been caused by an unsecured door. Patrol secured the door.

10:56 p.m. A parking ticket was issued for a car at School Street and the Carlisle Public Schools. A warning was also issued.

11:28 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported on Heald Road and had a negative find.

July 7

5:55 a.m. DPW was notified of a tree down and blocking the roadway on Heald Road.

7:03 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Bingham Road.

7:49 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on East Riding Drive.

10:38 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Overlook Drive.

12:50 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Church Street.

1:28 p.m. A resident complained about littering in the town and cited posters on telephone poles about a missing dog. No action was taken because it is not considered littering if the material is not on the ground.

4:39 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint about an erratic operator at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. Westford Police were advised.

5:29 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Westford Street and the Rotary and the operator cited for a past vehicle violation on July 6.

5:47 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Church Street.

5:59 p.m. A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Concord Street; patrol was unable to locate it.

7:47 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on Bingham Road.

8:25 p.m. A residential alarm on Hartwell Road was determined to have been set off accidentally by a neighbor.

10:22 p.m. Patrol removed a bat from a house on Bellows Hill Road.

10:42 p.m. Stargazers at School Street and the Spalding Building were advised to move along.

July 8

1:22 a.m. A well-being check was conducted on Old Quarry Drive at the request of Concord Police because of an individual overdue in that town. The individual was not located, but his car was, and a note was left on the vehicle.

9:32 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of two dogs running in the road on Russell Street.

9:45 a.m. A vehicle was stopped on Maple Street and found to have an expired registration: the vehicle was towed.

10:10 p.m. A message was delivered on Old North Road for the Billerica Police.

1:23 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot.

1:53 p.m. Pepper spray was turned in at the station.

4:16 p.m. A vehicle accident occurred at the ice cream stand on Bedford Road.

6:52 p.m. A Carroll Drive resident reported a lost cat: the animal was reported found at 10:52 p.m.

7:57 p.m. A dog with no tags was found on Cranberry Hill Lane and the Dog Officer notified.

9:45 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Judy Farm Road.

July 9

12:40 a.m. Patrol investigated possible gun shots at Curve Street and the bogs and had a negative find.

3:49 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Daniels Lane at the scene of a medical emergency.

8:27 a.m. A dog was found on Berry Corner Lane and the Dog Officer advised.

10:37 a.m. A sign on Concord Street was reported stolen.

10:47 a.m. A vehicle was stopped on Bedford Road; the driver was not licensed and will be summonsed.

1:44 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot. It was towed because the registration had expired.

6:49 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic operator at Concord and Westford Streets and had a negative find. Chelmsford Police were notified.

July 10

7:23 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Bedford Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

12:02 p.m. A property owner on Rutland Street was advised of a chipper causing a traffic hazard.

1:20 p.m. A lost dog was found on Westford Street.

6:18 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on North Road.

8:30 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a carbon monoxide alarm on Bingham Road.

July 11

10:08 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Log Hill Road.

2:48 p.m. Patrol investigated an accident involving a motorcycle and a car on Bedford Road.

6:22 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Log Hill Road.

9:22 p.m. A resident complained about a barking dog on North Road; patrol could not locate the dog.

10:02 p.m. An owl was struck by a vehicle at Lowell Street and Sunset Road. It was left on its own.
