Carlisle Varsity Athletes are strong contributors to Track and Field Teams: Track and Field teams send nine to State championship

The CCHS outdoor track and field teams had another strong season. The girls team went undefeated in the Dual County League Small School and won the DCL small title and both the boys and girls teams both finished third at the Dual County League meet. The Girls’ Concord-Carlisle softball team heads into the post-season tournament with an outstanding record of 19 wins and only one loss against Gardner, last year’s Division 1 State Championship runner-up. Biodiversity Corner : Eastern Phoebe

In a town with enough mosquitoes to plug an oil leak, you have to love flycatchers. The Eastern Phoebe is one of them, a member of the Tyrant Flycatcher family of birds, and soon we will have more. They are raising families in town and at least two nest sites are being watched. ...more
