Police Blotter

May 24

1:58 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Westford Street residence. The site appeared secure.

7:52 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Cross Street.

9:20 a.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a loose dog on Prospect Street.

11:05 a.m. A disabled vehicle was off to the side at East Street and Cutter’s Ridge Road.

11:40 a.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

1:50 p.m. A speed monitor was set up at Bedford and Skelton Roads.

1:55 p.m. The Dog Officer was advised of a lost dog at Rutland Street and the Billerica line.

2:42 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of unregistered solicitors on Russell Street and had a negative find.

4:15 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a turtle in the road at Westford Street and the flats near the Fire Department but had a negative find.

11:06 p.m. A Peter Hans Road resident reported a prank phone call and was advised.

May 25

2:23 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a carbon monoxide alarm on Curve Street.

8 a.m. A Click-It-or-Ticket traffic enforcement began. There were nine stops between 8:47 and 9:47 a.m.

4:05 p.m. A burglar alarm from a Munroe Hill residence was found to have been accidental by the homeowner.

5:56 p.m. Patrol removed a mattress from the roadway on Westford Street.

6:29 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a dog running down the street at Lowell Street and Ember Lane and had a negative find.

May 26

5:14 a.m. Patrol investigated a barking dog complaint on Robbins Drive and had a negative find.

8:22 a.m. A wallet was found at the State Park and brought to the station. The owner was notified and picked it up later in the day.

8:59 a.m. The dog officer was notified of a barking dog on Robbins Drive.

10:08 a.m. Patrol investigated an open door at an Acton Street residence. Everything appeared in order and a card was left for the owner.

10:58 a.m. Patrol advised the operator of a Verizon truck blocking traffic at Lowell Street and Ember Lane.

11:46 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Hart Farm Road. The situation appeared secure and a card was left.

1:58 p.m. Patrol provided coverage for dropped cargo on Concord Street.

3:58 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Russell Street.

5:15 p.m. A message from Gloucester Police was delivered to a Lowell Street resident.

6:40 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on School Street.

7:03 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Virginia Farme.

May 27

12:06 a.m. A message was delivered on Fiske Street.

8 a.m. A Click-It-or-Ticket traffic enforcement began. Twelve cars were stopped between 8:20 a.m. and 11:37 a.m.

11:25 a.m. A blocked site line at Westford and Acton Streets created a traffic hazard and a message was left for the responsible homeowner.

12:23 p.m. A mountain bike was found at the State Park and Lowell Street. It was tagged and brought to the station.

2:31 p.m. A burglar alarm from a Milne Cove Road residence was found to be accidental by a cleaner.

6:20 p.m. Dispatch notified DPW of a sink hole forming at South and West Streets.

6:35 p.m. A vehicle was damaged by a sinkhole at West and South Streets.

9:09 p.m. Patrol checked an open front door on Westford Street and the site checked okay.

May 28

8:29 a.m. A two-car accident occurred on Bedford Road. There was a minor injury.

9:44 a.m. A traffic enforcement operation began at 9:44 and ended at 11:34. There were seven stops.

10:56 a.m. A bracelet was reported lost at West and Acton Streets.

11:08 p.m. A School Street resident reported an overdue elderly couple.

11:26 a.m. Patrol investigated a child’s bike and helmet on the ground on Bedford Road; the situation checked okay.

11:52 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a vehicle blocking the roadway on Russell Street and had a negative find.

2:24 p.m. Dispatch confirmed that a 911 call from Russell Street was accidental.

2:49 p.m. A Hutchins Road resident reported unregistered solicitors and was advised.

4:58 p.m. A Lowell Street resident who requested medical advice about a bee sting refused an ambulance.

11:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at North Road and the visitor’s center.

May 29

11:58 a.m. Patrol investigated an alarm from the ATM in the center. The site appeared okay.

2:59 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a dog bite; the Dog Officer was notified.

4:15 p.m. Patrol checked an open door on Curve Street. The site appeared okay and the door was secured.

7:11 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Partridge Lane.

May 30

2:10 a.m. A resident reported a house party on North Road. Patrol investigated and two Concord residents were arrested and bailed later in the night. Both were charged with disorderly conduct and being minors transporting alcohol.

4:08 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Virginia Farme residence; it checked okay.

4:13 a.m. Patrol investigated a residential alarm sounding on Nathan Lane. The situation appeared secure.

7:21 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Stearns Street residence and the situation appeared secure.

9:54 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from an Overlook Drive residence; the situation appeared okay.

12:30 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Lowell Street.

5:25 p.m. A dog chased a woman on Lowell Street and dispatch notified the Dog Officer.

6:49 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at a medical emergency at the station.

7:22 p.m. A resident contacted the station for legal advice.

11:17 p.m. A Russell Street resident reported a house party. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.
