As the 2009-2010 spring season came to a close, the Ultimate Frisbee team was proud to say that their spring season was one of their best on record, with a tremendous increase in the number of players over previous years, and a superb and undeniable level of spirit. At the Andover tournament, which was the A team’s first tournament of the year, the boy’s went 2-4. Farther into the season, the boy’s went 2-3 at the Amherst tournament. Unfortunately, the boy’s went 0-4 at the Greenfield tournament, but after winning two spirit awards, the team agreed that the games had been one of the most fun tournaments they competed in this season.

During the weekend of May 22nd, all three Concord-Carlisle Frisbee teams (boys A and B teams and Girls team) competed in the 2010 St. Johnsbury Ultimate Frisbee tournament. The CCHS A team, seeded second in the “B” division, was promoted to the “A” division and took seventh place. The B team competed in the “C” division and took second place. The Girls team came in sixth out of a nine-team open division.

Richard Carey was the only senior Carlisle varsity athlete on the boy’s team, Carlisleans on the JV team included senior Ian Bloomfield, junior Chris Burnham, sophomore Drew Andre and freshman Stowe Simonton.
