CCHS superintendent evaluation process changes
Concord-Carlisle Regional School District Superintendent Diana Rigby’s annual evaluation will be done at the Regional School Committee (RSC) meeting on June 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. Superintendent evaluations will now be done in public, due to a recent court ruling at the state level.
Last year, RSC members individually interviewed Rigby and submitted a written evaluation to the committee chair. Now, individual evaluations and deliberations about superintendent performance have to be discussed publicly. Rigby said the plan is to review district goals and have individual meetings with committtee members in May. Discussion and deliberations can be done at the June school committee meeting.
RSC Chair Jan McGinn will no longer be a member in June as her term ends with May elections. The rest of the committee said they will gladly accept her input at the June meeting. ∆
