Police Blotter

April 12

8:19 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost dog on Fiske Street.

10:09 a.m. A burglar alarm from Sunset Road was confirmed accidental. A card was left at the site.

1:34 p.m. A hazardous materials incident occurred on Fifty Acre Way. Police assisted the Carlisle Fire Department at the scene.

7:12 p.m. A warrant from the town of Concord was served in Carlisle.

7:20 p.m. A summons was served on East Meadow Lane.

8:44 p.m. A resident came to the station for legal advice.

April 13

8:09 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog complaint on Berry Corner Road.

10:11 a.m. Patrol checked a gas valve reported in the road at East Street and East Riding Drive and had a negative find.

10:32 a.m. A speed monitor was set up at School Street and the Spalding Building.

11:09 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a found dog on Autumn Lane.

12:11 p.m. A speeding complaint at Nowell Farme Road and Long Ridge Road was referred to traffic.

12:26 p.m. Bicyclists riding in the middle of the road at North Road and Rutland Street were advised.

1:39 p.m. A suspicious vehicle with no one in it was reported at Partridge Lane and Woodbine Road.

1:40 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

6:03 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a dog in the road on East Street and had a negative find.

April 14

10:12 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported on Bedford Road and had a negative find.

1:25 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Log Hill Road.

2:48 p.m. A bike patrol was made at School Street and the Spalding Building.

2:50 p.m. The speed-limit sign at North Road and the Billerica line was vandalized.

4:55 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost Boston terrier on Acton Street.

9:50 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Lowell Street and North Road. A Lowell resident will be summonsed for operating after suspension of a license.

April 15

12:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Garnet Rock Lane.

4:51 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of two loose pit bulls on Robbins Drive.

5:10 p.m. A dead animal was removed from Brook Street.

5:56 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on South Street.

April 16

10:55 a.m. A parking ticket with a fine was issued at Lowell and Curve Streets.

11:58 a.m. An East Meadow Lane resident came to the station for legal advice.

3:34 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a loose greyhound at West Street and Pope Road.

10:38 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Bedford Road and the Bedford line for a failure to stop.

April 17

2:01 a.m. A vehicle was stopped at North Road and the canoe launch and a Carlisle resident and a Concord resident subsequently cited for possession of marijuana.

8:28 a.m. A renter/landlord dispute on Carleton Road was resolved by the parties involved.

10:28 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from Woodridge Road; the situation appeared secure.

11:50 a.m. A handbag was found on Tophet Road; it was brought to the station and tagged.

1:16 p.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a family dispute on East Meadow Lane.

4:08 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of dogs loose on Judy Farm Road.

6:21 p.m. A Bedford Road resident contacted the station for legal advice.

11:02 p.m. A Prospect Street resident reported lights at the end of the driveway. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

April 18

2:32 p.m. Nathan Lane resident reported suspicious vehicle activity. Patrol investigated and the situation checked okay.

6:01 p.m. A Carlisle resident was stopped at Lowell Street and Old North Road and subsequently arrested for OUI (operating under the influence). She was held at the station and bailed at 7:33 p.m.

April 19

7:38 a.m. An Elizabeth Ridge Road resident reported suspicious email and was advised.

11:31 a.m. Bicyclists were reported down at Bedford Road and the Bedford line. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

5:28 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Peter Hans Road where there was after-hours burning.

6:20 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Concord Street.

6:54 p.m. Patrol investigated a 911 hang-up call from Orchard Acres Drive. The situation checked okay.

April 20

12:08 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check on Maple Street. The situation checked okay.

12:52 a.m. An Estabrook Road resident called about a light in the garage; the situation checked okay.

1:35 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a couch in the middle of the road at Bedford Road and the Bedford line and had a negative find.

10:50 a.m. A wallet was reported lost on River Road.

1:08 p.m. A complaint was made about a vehicle that failed to yield at the rotary. The incident was logged.

3 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout at the Church Street apartments.

4:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a suspicious white truck on Page Brook Road and had a negative find.

6:20 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

April 21

1:39 a.m. A speed-limit sign at Lowell and Curve Streets was vandalized.

April 22

2:55 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Orchard Acres Drive.

5:20 p.m. A disabled vehicle at West and Acton Streets checked okay.

6:48 p.m. A dog fell out of a moving vehicle on Concord Street and was retrieved by the owner who backed up the truck to get it.

8:37 p.m. An Acton Street resident reported annoying phone calls and was advised.

8:41 p.m. A car hit a deer at Lowell Street and Ember Lane. The deer was removed from the road.

April 23

8:58 a.m. A suspicious white truck reported at Rutland Street and Great Brook State Park checked out okay.

9:54 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Carriage Way where there was smoke from the oven.

10:52 a.m. Patrol issued a parking violation ticket with a fine on North Road.

11:57 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog found at Partridge Lane and Woodbine Road.

1:54 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout at the Church Street apartments.

April 24

6:19 a.m. Patrol found an older man standing by the side of the road and gave him transportation home.

12:03 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a stray dog on Cross Street.

2 p.m. A speeding motorcycle was reported at Concord and Church Streets. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

2:09 p.m. Patrol assisted a motorist with a flat tire on Bedford Road.

8:03 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported at Brook Street and Peter Hans Road and had a negative find.

April 25

8:28 p.m. A senior who wandered away at Acton Street and the Acton line was found okay. ∆

1:34 p.m. Odor investigation on South Street. Hazardous material situation found with a great quantity of heating oil in the wetlands. DEP and other boards were notified.

April 13

8:51 a.m. Non-emergency investigation by officer on Bellows Hill Road.

April 14

1:28 p.m. Medical emergency on Log Hill Road. A 73-year-old female was transported to the Emerson Hospital with ALS on board.

April 15

12:01 p.m. Medical emergency on Garnet Rock Lane. A 68-year-old male was transported to Lahey Clinic.

6:38 p.m. Medical emergency on South Street. A 72-year-old male was transported to Emerson Hospital.

April 19

5:26 p.m. A non-permitted brush fire on Peter Hans Road was extinguished.

6:18 p.m. Medical emergency on Concord Street. An 80-year-old Billerica woman was transported from a car on the side of Concord Street to Emerson Hospital with ALS on board.

April 21

5:30 p.m. Mutual aid to the town of Concord Fire Department at Fenn School on Monument Street. A 45-year-old male was transported to Emerson Hospital.

April 22

2:57 p.m. An alarm investigation on Orchard Acres Drive was due to a system malfunction.

April 23

9:56 p.m. Inside building smoke investigation on Carriage Way. This was caused by the oven smoking. ∆
