Enough rain?

Carlisle received approximately five inches of rain during the recent storm, according to the National Weather Service. The Carlisle School weather station experienced a “small gap in the data collection (few hours) during the [recent] storm,” said Carlisle School Facilities Supervisor David Flannery, but recorded slightly over four inches, with a total of 15.4 inches for March.

According to the Blue Hill Meteorological Observatory, March 2010 currently is the second wettest of any month recorded since 1885 (18.39 inches at the Observatory). It was also the fourth-warmest month since 1921, with a mean temperature of 41.3°F. ∆
