Police Blotter

March 22

8:17 a.m. Disabled vehicle at Banta-Davis field, tow enroute.

8:35 a.m. Rocks at Westford Street and Towle Field were spray painted. The incident was logged.

11:35 a.m. An injured deer on Fiske Street was put down; the Dog Officer was notified.

1:52 p.m. A possible sick animal on Nowell Farme Road was put down.

2:02 p.m. Brush in the roadway on Maple Street was picked up by the landscaper.

2:42 p.m. A Laurelwood Drive resident reported his dog ran off. The Dog Officer was notified and the dog was found.

2:52 p.m. A resident reported a missing stroller at Spalding Field and Church Street.

March 23

10:04 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog chasing kids on Fiske Street.

10:52 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a car lockout on East Street.

2:20 p.m. A police officer assisted with the DARE program at Church Street and the Wilkins Building.

3:21 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

5:30 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a North Road residence; it checked okay.

6:31 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Heald Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

6:43 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of two dogs loose on North Road.

7:47 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint against a solicitor on Church Street and had a negative find.

7:58 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint against a solicitor on Maple Street and had a negative find.

8:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on East Street and the situation checked okay.

March 24

7:09 a.m. A sick raccoon was reported at Bedford Road and Canterbury Court; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

8:45 a.m. An injured raccoon on Bedford Road was put down. It was removed by DPW.

9:02 a.m. A Hartwell Road resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

9:05 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a possibly sick raccoon at Bedford Road and Banta-Davis Field. The situation checked okay.

9:54 a.m. A Stearns Street resident reported harassing calls.

11:30 a.m. DPW was notified of a sink hole on West Street.

12:28 p.m. A Rutland Street resident reported a strange dog in the yard; the Dog Officer was notified.

3:14 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

6:37 p.m. A black, brown and gray dog found on Bellows Hill Road was returned to its owner.

March 25

8:44 a.m. A North Road resident reported a neighbor’s dog in the yard. The Dog Officer was notified.

1:06 p.m. An individual who failed to stop for a police officer at the library on Bedford Road was advised.

3:22 p.m. Patrol looked for a truck reported to be blocking Westford Street and had a negative find.

4:19 p.m. Police received a complaint about a solicitor on Rutland Street. Patrol investigated and the solicitor was located and advised.

4:26 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a puppy in the Rotary; it was removed by the owner.

5:17 p.m. A Rutland Street resident made a complaint against an unregistered, non-profit solicitor.

6:32 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled silver pick-up at Pope Road and the Concord line.

6:57 p.m. A Fifty Acre Way resident made a complaint about an unregistered, non-profit solicitor.

7:02 p.m. A parking complaint was received about cars parked at a church on School Street. It was determined they were there legally.

8:11 p.m. A Rutland Street resident reported an unregistered solicitor.

March 26

9:29 a.m. Vandalism was reported on Brook Street.

9:29 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of suspicious activity on Applegrove Lane. The situation checked okay.

10:10 a.m. A Sunset Road resident reported missing chickens.

11:49 a.m. A shotgun shell found at Curve Street and the bogs was turned in.

2:24 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

5:01 p.m. An application for firearms was made at the station.

March 27

12:19 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from Church Street and the Wilkins Building. The situation appeared secure.

8:24 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a pit bull found at Curve Street and Hutchins Road.

March 28

8:57 a.m. A Davis Road resident reported a dog or coyote in the garage. Patrol investigated and determined it was the neighbor’s dog.

1:58 p.m. A Wolf Rock Road resident reported cars in a driveway. They were determined to belong to the new owner of the property.

2:09 p.m. A cell phone was found at Bedford Road and the Rotary. The owner was called. ∆

8:30 a.m. Medical emergency on Heald Road. No transport.

March 21

12:41 p.m. Carbon monoxide investigation on Stearns Street. No CO found.

4:34 p.m. Medical emergency on Westford Street. A 44-year-old male was transported to Emerson Hospital with ALS.

March 23

6:30 p.m. Medical assistance on Heald Road. Fire Department helped a 79-year-old male get up off the floor. ∆
