March 16

6:29 a.m. A single-car accident occurred at Westford Street and Hanover Road.

6:31 a.m. A two-car accident occurred at Westford Street and Hanover Road.

9:47 a.m. A Carleton Road resident was advised on a civil matter.

10:18 a.m. DPW was notified that a culvert on Bedford Road was blocked.

10:56 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Page Brook Road residence. The situation appeared okay and the cause was unknown.

12 noon. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Cross Street at the scene of a medical emergency.

2:42 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Pine Brook Road. The situation appeared okay.

3:05 p.m. A burglar alarm was received from an Acton Street residence. The situation was investigated and checked okay.

3:13 p.m. A burglar alarm was received from a Russell Street residence. The situation was investigated and appeared secure.

4:28 p.m. DPW was notified of a pothole on the inbound side of Westford Street.

5:41 p.m. A burglar alarm from an Autumn Lane residence was determined to be accidental, by the homeowner.

7:04 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout at Morse Road and the Transfer Station.

10:56 p.m. Tophet Road was washed out and unsafe to pass. Police closed the road and notified DPW.

March 17

6:01 a.m. A single-car accident occurred at Westford and Acton Streets. The car was towed by AAA.

6:03 a.m. DPW was notified of icy roads in the town.

8:08 a.m. A police presence was requested on Carleton Road to keep the peace in a civil matter.

9:52 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of dogs barking on Fiske Street.

12:05 p.m. Bicyclists all over the road at Lowell Street and Ledgeways were advised. The law requires that bicyclists travel single file.

2:18 p.m. A well-being check was made on a Bedford Road resident. The situation checked okay.

5:42 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported on Rutland Street and had a negative find.

6:07 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from an Oak Knoll residence. The situation checked okay.

7:38 p.m. A dog was found on Rodgers Road and the Dog Officer notified.

8:15 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported solicitors and was advised.

8:59 p.m. A Maple Street resident requested advice.

March 18

7:56 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Nathan Lane at the scene of a CO alarm.

10:16 a.m. Hounds were reported running loose on North Road. The dog officer and the kennel caretaker were notified.

10:23 a.m. A River Road resident requested legal advice.

10:27 a.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

10:32 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Judy Farm Road where a tree was on wires and the wires were arcing. NSTAR was notified.

10:59 a.m. A vehicle in a bad spot on Westford Street was moved.

11:26 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Westford Street.

2:44 p.m. Two lost dogs were reported on Red Fox Drive. The Dog Officer was notified and the dogs were returned home.

4:15 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a branch on wires on Acton Street.

4:33 p.m. A Russell Street resident reported a suspicious person who turned out to be a solicitor.

5:54 p.m. DPW was notified of a sinking catch basin at Milne Cove Road and Laurelwood Drive.

10:34 p.m. A resident reported a female was heard screaming on Munroe Hill Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

March 19

12:54 a.m. Patrol cleared construction debris off the Bedford Road roadway.

2:48 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Blaidsell Drive residence and determined the site was secure.

11:33 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on South Street.

12:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the DPW at North Road and the Canoe Launch.

1:51 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle with no one around on West Street.

2:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Bedford Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

6:28 p.m. Hounds kenneled on North Road broke loose and police were notified that the caretaker was getting them. The Dog Officer was notified.

9:52 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported on Westford Street; it was gone when patrol reached the scene.

March 20

1:39 a.m. Patrol advised the operators of suspicious vehicles at Concord Street and Buttrick Lane.

8:31 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Heald Road.

10:40 a.m. A Hickory Lane resident reported an unregistered solicitor. Patrol had a negative find.

11:36 a.m. An unregistered solicitor was reported on Daniels Lane; patrol had a negative find.

3:12 p.m. Trash bags were dumped on Judy Farm Road. Patrol advised a person at the scene.

8:27 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a dog trailing a lead in the road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

March 21

2:07 a.m. The Benfield property at West and South Streets was checked.

3:37 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Blaisdell Drive residence and found the situation was secured.

12:40 p.m. A CO alarm was received from a Stearns Street residence. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene.
