Police Blotter

January 11

6:59 a.m. An erratic operator who had pulled over in front of the Police Station was found to be having a reaction to a medication. She was transported to Emerson Hospital.

7:37 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on River Road.

9:14 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on East Street.

9:17 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Westford Street.

8:07 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a residential carbon monoxide alarm.

January 12

9:32 a.m. A summons for a Carriage Way resident was received and served.

10:16 a.m. A cable wire on East Street was down and patrol moved it to the side of the roadway.

January 13

10:18 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a house lockout on Estabrook Road.

11:04 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of two males on the ice on the river. They were determined to be on the Bedford side of the river and Bedford Police were notified.

12:10 p.m. Carlisle Police assisted the Chelmsford Police at Lowell Street and the Chelmsford line.

3:31 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

6:22 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

7:14 p.m. A parking ticket with a fine was issued for parking in a handicapped space at the school on School Street.

9:28 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a barking dog complaint from a River Road resident.

January 14

1:04 a.m. A Judy Farm Road resident reported hearing a possible gun shot. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

7:48 a.m. A Berry Corner Road resident complained of being scared by two golden retrievers. The Dog Officer was notified.

3:37 p.m. A Rutland Street resident made a barking dog complaint; the Dog Officer was notified.

6:42 p.m. Mutual aid was given to the Needham Police Department: firearms belonging to a Prospect Street resident were confiscated according to the terms of a restraining order issued in Needham.

January 15

3:26 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Canterbury Court.

January 16

7:55 a.m. An animal was reported to have been hit by a car at Fiske Street and the Chelmsford line. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

9:15 a.m. A Bedford Road resident made a barking dog complaint.

10:03 a.m. An injured animal on Fiske Street was put down.

10:52 a.m. Patrol assisted a resident on Ember Lane.

11:11 a.m. A dog found on Brook Street was returned home.

2:03 p.m. A wallet and phone found at School and Church Streets were brought to the station and tagged.

January 17

12:48 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

2:05 p.m. A lost dog was found on Brook Street.

5:20 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of chickens killed by a dog on Blaisdell Drive.

9:38 p.m. A suspicious vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Field was checked and found okay. The operator was advised to move along.

10:13 p.m. Billerica notified Carlisle of an erratic driver involved in a hit-and-run and heading towards Carlisle. Carlisle patrol investigated and had a negative find. The license plate was registered to a Bedford resident.

11:12 p.m. DPW was called out for slippery roads.

11:40 p.m. A Skelton Road resident reported a loud bang heard from the Bedford area; Bedford Police were advised. ∆

January 11

7:07 a.m. Medical emergency on Lowell Street. A 55-year-old female was transported to the Emerson Hospital with ALS intercept during transport.

7:42 a.m. Mutual aid was received from Concord Fire Department for a medical emergency on River Road. Their ambulance transported a 54-year-old female to the Emerson Hospital with assistance from ALS.

9:18 a.m. Medical emergency on Westford Street. An 83-year-old male was transported to the Emerson Hospital with ALS.

8:06 p.m. A carbon monoxide investigation was made on Evergreen Lane.

January 15

10:49 a.m. A non-emergency investigation was made by a Fire Department officer on Russell Street.
