Board of Health shorts, Jan.12
• Laurel Hollow Condominiums – waiver compliance. A waiver granted by the Board of Health to the condominium owners at Laurel Hollow required regular meter readings and Title 5 surveys to be submitted to the board, and for several months these were not being sent. The head of the housing association has recently contacted the board to rectify the matter, noting that they have hired a professional property management company that will make meeting this requirement part of their routine.
• Carlisle Public School – copper and lead testing. The schools are now in full compliance with testing and have levels well below the acceptable limits.
• Hazardous Waste Collection. The board will again run a free hazardous waste drop off the last weekend in May.
• Well Testing. Also in May, the board will offer discounted well testing to any residents who require it. ∆
