Police Blotter

December 7

7:25 a.m. A 911 call was received about a dog in the Rotary. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

7:49 a.m. A vehicle was stopped at Concord Street and Bingham Road; the operator will be summonsed for operating with an expired license.

1:52 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at North Road and the canoe launch.

4:05 p.m. An Old East Street resident contacted the station for legal advice.

5:38 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Virginia Farme resident. The cause is unknown and the house appeared secure.

5:55 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Aberdeen Drive where a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding.

6:37 p.m. A West Street resident notified police that his credit card number had been used by someone else and that his credit card company had been contacted.

9:08 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Forest Park Drive.

December 8

7:32 a.m. An ATM card was found at the ATM on Lowell Street and the owner advised.

9:37 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Carlisle Pines Drive at the scene of a CO detector alarm.

12:11 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Westford Street.

12:41 p.m. An Acton Street resident reported she had found a newspaper solicitation in her mailbox. She does not take a newspaper and the incident is under investigation as a possible scam.

5 p.m. Police assisted with tree lighting at School and Church Streets.

5:06 p.m. A resident contacted the station as required for the annual sex offender registration.

December 9

7:10 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a single-car accident at East and Maple Streets.

8:09 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Cross Street.

8:23 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle at Concord and Church Streets.

8:30 a.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle reported at East and Maple Streets and had a negative find.

8:38 a.m. A two-car vehicle accident with no personal injury occurred at Concord Street and Buttrick Lane.

9 a.m. A two-car vehicle accident with a personal injury occurred on East Street. A tree was in the roadway at the site.

9:45 a.m. DPW was advised of branches in the roadway at Partridge Lane and Woodbine Roads.

10:20 a.m. A vehicle accident with no personal injury occurred at North Road and the canoe launch.

11:30 a.m. DPW was notified of a tree hanging over the roadway on Skelton Road which was closed until 4:28 p.m. that afternoon.

1:31 p.m. Verizon was notified of telephone wires on the roadway on Meadowbrook Road; the wires were moved off the roadway.

1:56 p.m. NSTAR was notified of branches on wires on Maple Street.

5:39 p.m. A found cell phone was brought to the station and picked up there by the owner.

10:07 p.m. An ATM card was found on Westford Street and the owner called.

11:43 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Russell Street.

December 10

12:41 a.m. DPW was called out for icing roads.

2:20 a.m. A 73-year-old Carlisle woman who had been missing overnight was found. She had gone to an out-of-town get together. Her car got stuck in the mud in Acton on the way home and she spent the night in Acton.

10:40 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from Rocky Point. The scene appeared secure.

1:01 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported at Lowell Street and Ember Lane. It checked okay.

2:56 p.m. Patrol removed a branch from the roadway at West Street and Old Quarry Drive.

3:30 p.m. A Craigie Circle resident reported receiving an email version of the Nigerian letter scam and was advised.

5:02 p.m. Police are attempting to contact the party responsible for harassing phone calls to an East Riding Drive resident. Similar calls were made in July and the attempts to contact have been ongoing.

11:33 p.m. A 911 hang up call from an East Street residence was confirmed accidental.

December 11

12:46 p.m. Carlisle Police assisted Concord Police to search for a suspicious vehicle but had a negative find.

11:03 p.m. Suspicious parkers on Bedford Road were advised to move along.

December 12

3:30 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Russell Street at the scene of a residential fire alarm.

8 a.m. A Stearns Street resident reported hearing shots. The scene checked okay and the shots were thought to be from hunters.

9:47 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Timothy Lane.

2:11 p.m. A disabled van was removed from the roadway on Koning Farm Road.

5:30 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint about a craft fair sign at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road and found the situation appeared okay.

8:08 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at School Street and the Carlisle Public School.

December 13

10:38 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of an odor investigation on Concord Street.

6:14 p.m. A vehicle hit a tree on North Road.

11:34 p.m. DPW was called out for slick roads in the town. ∆

9:40 a.m. Carbon monoxide investigation on Carlisle Pines Drive. CO found in the house.

11:12 p.m. Alarm investigation on Westford Street. Due to burnt food.

December 9

8:49 a.m. Motor vehicle accident at Concord street and Buttrick Lane. No injuries and no transport provided.

9:01 a.m. Motor vehicle accident on East Street. Two occupants transported to the Emerson Hospital.

11:45 p.m. Medical emergency on Russell Street. A 51-year-old male was transported to the Lahey Clinic with ALS.

December 10

8:05 a.m. Mutual Aid ambulance to Concord-Carlisle High School. A 17- year-old female was transported to the Emerson Hospital.

December 11

1:13 p.m. Special service on Bedford Road. Pump water to make skating rink for the Recreation Department at Kimball’s.

December 12

3:25 a.m. Alarm investigation on Russell Street.

9:50 a.m. Medical emergency on Timothy Lane. A 68-year-old female was transported to the Lahey Clinic.

8:32 p.m. Medical emergency on School Street. A 21-year-old male was transported to the Lahey Clinic.
