The Carlisle cross-country team had an outstanding season with boys and girls teams finishing with an undefeated record of nine wins and no losses. In addition to the outstanding results, we also had the largest team in the history of the program. Eighty-seven runners representing grades five through eight participated in the program this year. We were very proud of our runners as they represented our team and our school with great pride. Course records were broken, friendships were made, leaders emerged and all runners improved their time.

Our invitational meet at Great Brook Farm State Park was a huge success. A record 725 runners representing 22 schools participated this year. We would like to thank Steve Carlin and his staff from Great Brook Farm State Park for all of their help in making this meet such a wonderful event for our runners.

We will miss our eighth-grade runners next year but thank them for their extraordinary leadership and support of our younger runners. We wish them the best of luck next year at the high school and hope they continue to run. We are also very grateful to our parents for volunteering at meets and their continued support of our runners and our program. With the record number of runners this year, we would not have been able to provide for the safety and support of our runners without your generous support.
