Police Blotter

September 21

8:55 a.m. A River Road resident reported suspicious phone calls.

10:54 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a barking dog on Laurelwood Drive.

1:11 p.m. A Pheasant Hill Lane resident reported two missing dogs; the Dog Officer was notified.

3:25 p.m. A loose cow at Carlisle Pines Drive and Evergreen Lane was removed by the owner.

3:51 p.m. An officer responded to a request to keep the peace at the scene of a civil problem on Maple Street.

5:42 p.m. An Aldershot Lane resident reported past mailbox damage.

7:15 p.m. Two young children were reported outside, alone, at Russell Street and Robbins Lane. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

September 22

7:49 a.m. The operator of a disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and East Street reported a tow was en route.

12:39 p.m. Verizon and NSTAR were notified of a tree on wires on East Street.

1:13 p.m. A Carriage Way resident reported an overdue nine-year-old boy.

2:03 p.m. A disabled vehicle at Westford and Acton Streets was investigated and it was determined AAA was en route.

2:56 p.m. An iPod was found at Diment Park on Church Street. It was brought to the station, tagged and placed in the lost and found.

4:08 p.m. A North Road resident reported past malicious destruction of property.

6:38 p.m. A Curve Street resident reported two missing dogs.

7:30 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

7:30 p.m. A (second) Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

7:53 p.m. A residential burglar alarm on West Street was determined to be accidental.

September 23

11:12 p.m. A Hart Farm Road resident reported larceny. Two cleaning ladies were subsequently arrested for theft of cash.

2:50 p.m. A speed monitor was set up at West and Acton Streets.

5:13 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

6:41 p.m. Money taken in the Hart Farm Road theft was turned in at the station.

7:04 p.m. The operator of a disabled vehicle with a flat tire on Concord Street reported AAA was en route.

11:14 p.m. A Heald Road resident reported someone knocking on the window. Patrol had a negative find.

September 24

1:05 p.m. A bicyclist called the station to report a school bus cut him off at Concord and South Streets. The matter was referred to the bus company.

3:26 p.m. A police officer assisted at the Robbins/Link Building on School Street.

9:35 p.m. A wallet was reported lost on Patch Meadow Lane.

September 25

11:02 a.m. Two dogs, previously reported lost, were found on Cross Street.

12:03 p.m. A portable phone was found on Elizabeth Ridge Road; the owner was advised.

1:13 p.m. Patrol assisted on River Road where a truck was blocking the roadway.

1:50 p.m. Patrol assisted with traffic at Westford and Acton Streets.

6:29 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a structure fire on Lowell Street.

September 26

11:54 a.m. Solicitors on Westford Street were advised.

5:18 p.m. A residential burglar alarm on Rutland Street was investigated and the property appeared secure.

8:16 p.m. A Rutland Street resident complained about a dog barking. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

8:41 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on Westford Street.

September 27

12:31 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on Hart Farm Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

2:02 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Overlook Drive.

6:49 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Maple Street and it checked okay.

8:20 p.m. A resident who came to the station for legal advice was assisted.

September 28

10:57 a.m. A non-emergency lift assist was provided to a resident on Fifty Acre Way.

12:50 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Westford Street.

2:46 p.m. Patrol investigated an open back door on East Street and found the site checked okay.

4:16 p.m. Beer cans were found scattered around at Cross Street and Trillium Way.

5:20 p.m. Kids were reported throwing a ball back and forth over Concord Street. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

6:24 p.m. Utilities were notified of wires and branches down at Maple Street and the Billerica line.

8:41 p.m. An Ember Lane adult previously reported missing arrived home safely.

9:28 p.m. Patrol assisted on Russell Street where a vehicle was off the road.

9:34 p.m. A dog complaint was made by a bicyclist who reported a dog ran out of a property at Curve Street and Cranberry Hill Lane and chased him.

September 29

10:06 a.m. An unwanted guest at Westford Street and Virginia Farme damaged property on the premises. Police were called and the person causing the vandalism will be summonsed.

September 30

8 a.m. Carlisle Police made an area search for a Concord man reported missing.

9:30 a.m. A well-being check was made on an elderly man walking in the road.

11:36 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a box alarm at School Street and the First Religious Society.

1:32 p.m. DPW was notified of a dead animal on the roadside at Westford Street and the flats.

4:10 p.m. Police made an ATV search at West and Acton Streets for the Concord man previously reported missing.

10:16 p.m. Carlisle Police assisted Concord Police in searching for a car reported by state police to have driven off the road; they had a negative find.

October 1

8:30 a.m. A resident came to the station for legal advice.

11 a.m. A police officer spoke at the Council on Aging meeting at the Town Hall.

1 p.m. Police investigated a residential alarm on Heald Road and determined it was accidental.

2 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a general fire alarm on South Street.

6:13 p.m. A Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

7:13 p.m. A second Restorative Justice meeting was held at the station.

October 2

12:16 p.m. A car key found on Bedford Road was brought to the station, tagged and placed in the lost and found.

1:17 p.m. Police assisted at a school lock-down drill on School Street.

4:38 p.m. Bank of America security was notified that the ATM door at the bank on Westford Street would not lock.

7:41 p.m. A Carlisle resident was arrested for drunkenness at a Friday Night Live function at the Corey Building. He was brought to the station and later bailed; his car was towed. The school had notified police of the incident.

October 3

12:05 a.m. A suspicious vehicle at Brook Street and Peter Hans Road checked okay.

2:22 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at the station.

11:27 am. A power outage was reported at Concord and South Streets. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

12:20 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious gold van on Old North Road and it checked okay.

6:40 p.m. The Fire Department was notified that the control box in the Town Hall was buzzing.

7:50 p.m. NSTAR was notified that wires were arcing at Morse Road and the Transfer Station.

11:18 p.m. Patrol investigated noise reported from a Rutland Street house party and advised the responsible persons at the party.

October 4

5:12 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Log Hill Road at the scene of a residential fire alarm.

10:57 a.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

11:09 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle reported at Morse Road and the Transfer Station; it was gone on patrol’s arrival.

9:07 p.m. Patrol investigated a group of kids gathering at Westford and Church Streets. The situation checked okay.

9:58 p.m. A Maple Street resident made a complaint about a neighbor. ∆.

10:48 a.m. Investigation by officer on Kimball Road. Non-emergency.

September 23

3:41 p.m. Mutual aid engine to Chelmsford Fire Department on Princeton Street, North Chelmsford, to cover their Station 2 in North Chelmsford for a four-alarm fire on Proctor Road.

September 24

1:16 p.m. Mutual aid response to 188 Princeton Street, North Chelmsford, for their Station 2.

September 25

10:10 a.m. Medical emergency, lifeline on Bedford Road. Accidental, no transport.

6:32 p.m. Structure fire reported by neighbor at 734 Lowell Street. Fire in garage was under control at 6:52 p.m.

September 27

1:59 p.m. Medical emergency on Overlook Drive. A female was transported to Emerson Hospital.

6:21 p.m. Alarm investigation on Pine Brook Road. Response was cancelled in time, by alarm company.
