A TASTE OF EDEN HERE IN CARLISLE.

Visitors bask in the beauty of the parterre, or formal garden, at the home of Maureen and Michael Reuttgers on Bedford Road. The woodland, pond, mosaic and vegetable/cutting gardens, as well as the orchard, were open to public viewing on September 26, as part of the Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program. The Garden Conservancy was established in 1989 to save and preserve America’s exceptional gardens for the education and enjoyment of the public. See more photos of the tour in color on the web at www.carlislemosquito.org. (All Photos by Dave Ives)
