Police Blotter

June 29

8:16 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog found on Bedford Road.

10:35 a.m. A burglar alarm was received from a Woodbine Road residence. The situation checked okay and a card was left for the resident.

3:27 p.m. A dog in the roadway on Concord Street was returned to its owner.

5:54 p.m. A Hemlock Hill Road resident reported spray paint on their property. The reason is unknown.

8:39 p.m. NEMLEC (North Eastern Mass. Law Enforcement Council) issued a call-out for a missing five-year-old in Lowell. The child was found and the Carlisle contingent of the NEMLEC team returned to the station.

9:31 p.m. An Ember Lane resident reported noise was heard and lights seen in the woods. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

10:56 p.m. The operator of a disabled vehicle on Rutland Street reported AAA was enroute.

June 30

11:54 a.m. A cow was reported in the road at Carlisle Pines Drive and Evergreen Lane. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

1:04 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on South Street.

1:39 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost dog on North Road.

3:03 p.m. A car was stopped on Lowell Street and the vehicle subsequently towed because of an expired registration.

4:14 p.m. Bedford Police requested assistance for a Carlisle resident who needed transportation home. The resident was taken to the town line where the Carlisle patrol met them and took the resident home.

4:28 p.m. A speed monitor was set up on East Street.

7:14 p.m. A Baldwin Road resident reported a cow and a sheep were in their front yard. Patrol got the animals and returned them to their owner.

8:30 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road.

10:33 p.m. Patrol removed a bat from a house on East Street.

July 1

2:31 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a power line down at Bedford Road and Brook Street.

2:42 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a transformer burn out at East and Maple Streets.

6:27 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree limb on primary wires at Concord and Church Streets.

July 2

3:05 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Aberdeen Drive.

7:06 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a medical emergency on Indian Hill.

10:30 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on McAllister Drive.

10:42 p.m. A Sunset Drive resident reported two huskies were trying to attack her goats.

11:14 p.m. Two huskies registered to a Lowell Street resident were found on Lowell Street. The owner was not home and the dogs were placed in the garage.

July 3

7:05 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Curve Street.

7:54 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at River Road and Foss Way where there were arcing wires.

10:24 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from an Overlook Drive residence. The door was unlocked and it was secured.

10:59 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a lifeline activation on Concord Street.

12:27 p.m. A burglar alarm was received from a River Road residence. An open door was secured.

2:05 p.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

11:31 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Pheasant Hill Lane.

July 4

7:20 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Acton Street. The cause was unknown.

10:04 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from an Overlook Drive residence. The situation appeared okay.

11:02 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a lost or stolen motor vehicle plate.

6:50 p.m. A message was left for DPW about a tree hanging over the roadway on Curve Street.

7:33 p.m. Patrol removed a tree branch from the roadway on North Road.

July 5

1:01 a.m. A message was delivered to a Rutland Street resident.

10:14 a.m. A tree in the road at Lowell Street and North Road was removed.

11:02 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Berry Corner Lane.

6:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Heald Road.

6:15 p.m. Towels and clothing were found on South Street and brought to the station.

6:48 p.m. A vehicle failed to stop for a police cruiser on Cross Street.

July 6

7:27 a.m. A minor vehicle accident occurred in Littleton. The operators called the Westford Police who referred them to the Carlisle Police who referred them to the Littleton Police Department, which has jurisdiction over the area where the accident occurred.

11:23 a.m. DPW was advised of pot holes in the driveway at Bedford Road and Banta-Davis Fields.

2:02 p.m. Ammuntion was turned in at the station.

July 7

7:57 a.m. A Tanglewood Way resident had a problem with the front door and patrol assisted the resident.

9:41 a.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

2:03 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of two stray dogs found at the state park.

2:23 p.m. Jewelry was stolen at a housebreak on Martin Street. The theft is under investigation.

9:13 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Canterbury Court.

10:49 p.m. Parkers at Bedford Road and Foss Field were advised.

July 8

10:05 a.m. A speeding complaint about a vehicle on Westford Street was referred to the traffic officer.

11:36 a.m. An Indian Hill resident contacted the station for advice on an animal issue and was referred to the Dog Officer.

2:54 p.m. A loose dog was reported on Brook Street. The Dog Officer was notified.

5:57 p.m. Patrol investigated a motor vehicle accident on Rutland Street. There was no personal injury.

9:15 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Overlook Drive at the scene of a medical emergency.

10:03 p.m. Bedford Police requested assistance with a suspicious vehicle traveling from Bedford to Carlisle. Patrol looked for the vehicle and had a negative find.

July 9

8:44 a.m. The operator of a vehicle that had to turn around on Acton Street because of paving in Acton called Carlisle Police to say that a detour sign was needed on the street. The paving operation was completed and the road was clear when patrol got to the scene.

10:03 a.m. A River Road resident called to report being annoyed by a neighbors’ bees. The owner of the bees was away and a realtor involved with the property was advised of the problem.

10:19 a.m. A male hitchhiking at Bedford Road and East Street was advised.

4:35 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Judy Farm Road.

8 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a smoke alarm on Garnet Rock Lane.

July 10

7:55 a.m. A window at the Robbins/Link Building on School Street was broken.

1:18 p.m. A Log Hill resident turned in ammunition at the station.

4:46 p.m. A fire and burglar alarm on Wolf Rock Road was caused by an apparent malfunction.

5:35 p.m. DPW was advised of a sink hole at Bedford and River Roads.

July 11

1:53 a.m. A suspicious vehicle at the state park and Lowell Street checked okay but was advised to move on.

9:24 a.m. Patrol assisted at Bedford Road and Stearns Street where there was a yard sale parking complaint.

1:11 p.m. A Martin Street resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

2:56 p.m. A resident complained about the dogs at the transfer station: the Dog Officer was notified.

8:05 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a lockout on Kimball Road.

8:49 p.m. A noise disturbance was reported on Red Pine Drive. Patrol investigated, found the noise came from a kids party, and asked the kids to keep the noise down.

9:44 p.m. A group of kids at North Road and the Visitor’s Center was dispursed.

10:08 p.m. Patrol made a well being check on a reported domestic dispute on Long Ridge Road and found the situation checked okay.

July 12

9:31 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a wire down on West Street.

11:31 a.m. Patrol advised individuals involved in a domestic dispute on Long Ridge Road.

12:27 p.m. Patrol investigated a report that old medicine bottles with poison labels on them were being sold at a yard sale on Stearns Street. Those bottles so labeled were withdrawn from the sale.

3:48 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on River Road.

1:20 p.m. A suspicious vehicle on School Street was advised to leave. ∆

2:32 p.m. Mutual aid to Concord. Engine to 209 Walden Street station for coverage.

2:52 p.m. Mutual aid response to a medical emergency in Concord.

2:53 p.m. Mutual aid to an alarm investigation at Old Bedford Road in Concord.

11:47 p.m. Medical emergency on Canterbury Court. No transport – patient refusal.

July 8

9:09 p.m. Medical emergency on Overlook Drive. Transported to the Emerson Hospital.

8:13 p.m. Alarm investigation on Garnet Rock Lane.

4:51 p.m. Alarm investigation on Wolf Rock Road.

2:35 p.m. Mutual aid to Westford Fire Department. Transported a patient from Old Lowell Road to Saints Memorial Hospital.

3:02 p.m. Medical emergency. Mutual aid ambulance from Westford Fire Department transported one patient with ALS to the Emerson Hospital. ∆
