Police Blotter

June 22

11:52 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Bellows Hill Road.

2:26 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog at the ice cream stand on Bedford Road.

2:47 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Church Street.

2:48 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a minor motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street.

3:52 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost dog on Fiske Street. The dog was found.

4:18 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Elizabeth Ridge Road.

4:44 p.m. Police assisted a School Street resident.

5:11 p.m. Police advised the owner of a truck in a bad spot at Westford and School Streets.

11:24 p.m. A speed monitor was set up on Westford Street.

June 23

1:06 a.m. A branch was reported hanging over the street at Pope Road and the Acton line. It was determined that the branch was in Concord.

8 a.m. A selective enforcement operation began at 8 a.m. and concluded at 9:55 a.m. There were three stops.

10:32 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog reported on an Acton Street property.

3:17 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Kimball Road where a resident needed a lift assist.

4:50 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

June 24

8:27 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost dog on Westford Street.

3:30 p.m. A motorcycle was stopped on Lowell Street.

6:32 p.m. A Rutland Street resident reported elderly parents missing; they were found, out walking.

9 p.m. A minor two-car vehicle accident occurred on West Street.

9:38 p.m. Patrol assisted at the site of a disabled vehicle on Concord Street.

9:54 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a power outage on Wildwood Drive.

June 25

6:52 am. DPW was notified of pot- holes on West Street.

10:35 a.m. Patrol assisted on Kimball Road where a small deer was stuck inside a fence.

5:05 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Field.

5:07 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic vehicle operation on Bedford Road and found the situation checked okay.

10:40 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Hutchins Road.

June 26

8:13 a.m. A vehicle in the roadway on Lowell Street was advised to move.

8:22 a.m. DPW was notified of a rock in the roadway on South and West Streets.

10:40 a.m. Patrol investigated a complaint against solicitors on Buttrick Lane and had a negative find.

11:22 a.m. A past hit-and-run with property damage on Martin Street was reported.

11:24 a.m. Patrol investigated a complaint against solicitors on Hutchins Road and had a negative find.

10:32 p.m. A lost FID (Fire Arms Identification) card was reported at the station and a replacement requested.

11:45 p.m. A tree was reported down in the road at Westford Street and the Westford line. It was determined to be in Westford.

June 27

6:30 a.m. A burglar alarm at the Corey Building was determined to be accidental, caused by workers.

8:54 a.m. A School Street resident reported cars parked on grass.

9:43 a.m. Patrol advised persons involved in a domestic dispute on Hartwell Road.

10:08 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a bicyclist accident on Maple Street.

11:14 a.m. Patrol advised the operator of a Verizon truck in the roadway at Concord Street and Buttrick Lane.

11:34 a.m. Patrol was unsuccessful at the scene of a vehicle lockout at Lowell Street and the municipal lot.

12:08 p.m. A verbal dispute on Church Street is under investigation.

1:46 p.m. A Curve Street resident complained about Jehovah’s Witnesses and was advised.

3:20 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog running down the roadway at West Street and the Concord line.

4:35 p.m. A dog was reported running in and out of traffic on Bedford Road. Patrol had a negative find and the Dog Officer was notified.

5:31 p.m. A verbal dispute between neighbors occurred on Autumn Lane.

11:28 p.m. Patrol assisted the State Police on Red Fox Drive in regard to a vehicle hit-and-run.

June 28

11:05 a.m. A possible wolf sighting was reported on Rutland Street.

11:36 a.m. A bicyclist complained about a motor vehicle at Curve Street and Hart Farm Road. The motor vehicle operator was advised.

10:44 p.m. A Carleton Road resident reported the house alarm sounded. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

10:50 p.m. Patrol assisted at East Street and Cutter’s Ridge Road where a suspicious person was reported. ∆
