For many decades two boards have stood on the edge of the Town Common, quietly displaying the names of the 198 men and women who served in the armed forces while residing in Carlisle beginning in World War One. Middle School softball pulls together for a winning season

The 2009 edition of the varsity girls softball team at Carlisle put together a solid season. Led by nine eighth graders, the team compiled a 6-5 record against a very tough set of opponents, beating everyone on their schedule at least once, with the exception of Concord.
