Police Blotter

June 15

9:09 a.m. A speed monitor was set up on School Street.

3:40 p.m. A pick-up truck on Lowell Street was vandalized.

4:00 p.m. A vehicle passing illegally in front of a police officer in a cruiser at the Police Station was stopped and cited.

8:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Fern Lane.

11:40 p.m A repossession order for a vehicle registered in Carlisle was received.

June 16

10:40 a.m. DPW was notified of a small animal hit on Bedford Road.

7:35 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Church Street.

9:30 p.m. DPW was notified of a dead raccoon at Bedford Road and Brook Street.

June 17

7:00 a.m. A selective enforcement operation began at 7 a.m. and concluded at 9:03 a.m. Three vehicle stops were made.

11:34 a.m. Patrol looked for a reported erratic operator at Lowell Street and Rocky Point and had a negative find.

12:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at School Street and the Robbins Building.

2:38 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

2:45 p.m. A student on a school bus at Bedford Road and the Rotary made obscene hand gestures at workmen at a construction site.

3:05 p.m. An individual responsible for illegal dumping on Lowell Street was advised.

3:24 p.m. Mutual aid was given to Billerica Police who asked Carlisle Police to stop a suspicious car in this town. Patrol had a negative find.

10:44 p.m. A Curve Street resident reported a dog barking for over an hour. The dog was returned to the house.

June 18

8:57 a.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

11:21 a.m. Patrol investigated an open door on Curve Street. The resident was at the scene.

12:19 p.m. A white box truck at Westford and Acton Streets was losing lumber. The vehicle was stopped and the operator advised.

9:17 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a room lock-out on Lowell Street.

11:11 p.m. Occupants of a car parked at Banta-Davis Field and the cemetery were advised to move on.

June 19

1:32 p.m. A tree down across the roadway on Estabrook Road was removed.

5:07 p.m. A turtle was assisted across the road at East and Maple Streets.

June 20

7:47 a.m. A complaint about bicyclists riding three abreast at Bedford Road and the Bedford line was investigated; it was determined the bicyclists were in Bedford.

11:20 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at North Road and the Canoe Launch.

2:24 p.m. A 911 hang up call from a School Street residence was investigated and the situation checked okay.

2:38 p.m. A turtle in the playground at Spalding Field and Church Street was removed.

6:21 p.m. A resident who inadvertently threw away a needed piece of glass requested access to the Transfer Station to retrieve it. DPW was notified.

June 21

2:33 a.m. Past lawn damage at Bedford Road and Banta-Davis Field was logged.

10:17 a.m. A stray horse on Stearns Street was picked up by the owner.

1:02 p.m. A large tree down in the roadway on Westford Street was cleared.

8:02 p.m. A message was left for the DPW about a branch in the road at the intersection of Bellows Hill Road and Estabrook Road. ∆
