Police Blotter

June 8

8:45 a.m. A complaint about a vehicle that failed to yield at the Rotary crosswalk was referred to the traffic officer.

8:57 a.m. An Indian Hill resident with a complaint about a barking dog was advised.

10:10 a.m. A disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and River Road checked okay.

10:56 a.m. An East Street resident reported annoying phone calls. The complaint was resolved by the reporting party.

11:25 a.m. Occupants of cars in the lower lot at Church Street and the Corey lot were causing a disturbance and were advised.

1:32 p.m. A speed monitor was set up on Concord Street and Indian Hill Road.

1:49 p.m. A neighbor dispute on Red Pine Drive involved a civil, rather than a police, matter.

11:34 p.m. Voices were heard and cars were parked at Curve Street and the bogs; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

June 9

8:10 a.m. Patrol removed trash dumped in the middle of Koning Farm Road.

8:24 a.m. Patrol monitored traffic at Concord and Westford Streets.

9:09 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic driver at West and Acton Streets and found the area checked okay.

3:17 p.m. A complaint was received about a house trailer backing up traffic on Bedford Road and Brook Street.

3:22 p.m. A Fiske Street resident reported a possible coyote in the yard and was advised.

4:14 p.m. An accident between a motor vehicle and a dog occurred on Acton Street. The Dog Officer was notified.

5:29 p.m. A North Road resident reported barking dogs. The situation checked okay.

June 10

7:50 a.m. Patrol assisted at Concord and Westford Streets where traffic was backed up.

12:38 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Bedford Road. The situation appeared okay.

4:26 p.m. Patrol investigated a vehicle accident on East Street.

4:52 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical call on Bedford Road.

7:39 p.m. Patrol found a rear door open at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot.

11:02 p.m. A speed monitor was set up at School and Church Streets.

June 11

1:25 a.m. Parkers at the ice cream stand on Bedford Road were advised to move along.

7:05 a.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a lost dog on Carlisle Pines Drive.

11:34 a.m. A vehicle was stopped on Lowell Street. It was determined to be unregistered and it was towed.

11:44 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a lifeline call on Church Street.

12:18 p.m. A vehicle stolen from a Bellows Hill Road resident was reported.

7:26 p.m. A parking ticket with a fine was issued at Spalding Field and Church Street.

June 12

5:23 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical call on Woodridge Road.

7:20 a.m. DPW was notified of a low branch on Peter Hans Road.

9 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical call on Brook Street.

9:04 a.m. Another police department recovered the vehicle stolen from a Bellows Hill Road resident.

6:33 p.m. Patrol investigated an alarm from the ATM on Westford Street:;the situation appeared okay.

8:16 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a minor vehicle accident at Cross and Westford Streets.

June 13

8:35 a.m. A turtle was reported crossing the road at Concord Street and Bingham Road. Patrol had a negative find.

9:22 a.m. The operator of a car parked in a bad spot at Bedford Road and Maple Street was advised.

12:49 p.m. An erratic driver was reported at Maple Street and the Billerica line. Patrol had a negative find.

June 14

11:39 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree limb on wires on Westford Street.

11:43 a.m. A resident came to the station for legal advice.

12 noon. A resident reported receiving a suspicious text message. Police investigated and determined the message had been sent to the wrong phone.

2:11 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on River Road.

8:05 p.m. The Dog Officer was notified of a dog bite at Curve Street and the bogs. ∆
