Police Blotter

May 4

8:09 a.m. A suspicious male at Baldwin and Woodridge Roads checked okay.

8:28 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a minor fuel spill on East Street.

10:26 a.m. DPW was notified of a missing street sign at Lowell Street and Sunset Road.

10:26 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Kimball Road for a medical call.

3:02 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Partridge Lane at the scene of a lifeline activation.

5:13 p.m. A resident came to the station to report harassing phone calls and was advised.

5:14 p.m. A found key was brought to the station and tagged.

8:19 p.m. A black bear was sighted at Curve Street and Hutchins Road.

May 5

8:20 a.m. A past bear sighting on Virginia Farme was reported.

8:49 a.m. Keys found at Estabrook Woods and Kibby Place were brought to the station and tagged.

11:55 a.m. Patrol assisted persons involved in a neighbor dispute on Prospect Street.

3:24 p.m. The dog officer was notified of a dog found on Bedford Road. It was picked up by its owner.

7:26 p.m. Dogs were found on Curve Street.

May 6

7:25 a.m. An officer was assigned to the crosswalk for Walk to School day.

8:18 a.m. An officer was assigned to the crosswalk for Walk to School day.

10:24 a.m. A camera was found on Curve Street and returned to the owner.

11:13 a.m. A speed monitor was set up at Bedford Road and East Street.

2:52 p.m. The operator of a vehicle that illegally passed a school bus at East Street and Ice Pond Road was advised.

3:37 p.m. A minor vehicle accident involving a school bus occurred on Patch Meadow Lane. There were no injuries.

6:31 p.m. Patrol assisted the State Police at Lowell Street and Morse Road where a vehicle had been stopped.

May 7

7:38 a.m. A dog was found on Fielding Farm Drive and a message left for the Dog Officer. The dog was picked up by its owner later in the day.

10:15 a.m. A camera was found at Westford Street and the rotary, brought to the station, and tagged.

5:30 p.m. Suspicious males on River Road were stopped and advised.

7:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a lift assist on Ledgeways.

May 8

11 a.m. A vehicle was stopped at Bedford and Skelton Roads because of an expired registration.

12:24 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from a Stoney Gate residence and secured the house.

2 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from an East Street resident and found the house appeared secure.

2:08 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Mill Pond Lane and found the house appeared secure.

3:57 p.m. A Bedford Road resident came to the station for legal advice.

11:38 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle in a lot on North Road; it was subsequently removed by the owner.

May 9

9:59 a.m. Bicycle riders in the middle of the road at Westford Street and the town line were advised.

9:45 p.m. Patrol investigated a loud music complaint on Buttrick Lane and found the situation checked okay.

May 10

9:16 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on East Street.

9:19 a.m. A tree in the road at Maple Street and the Billerica line was moved to the side of the road.

1:15 p.m. A missing autistic male on Cross Street was found okay.

9:18 p.m. A disabled vehicle on Lowell Street checked okay.

Police note: The dog officer’s log is now being included in the regular Police Blotter, hence the increased number of dog-related calls in the Police Blotter.

8:28 a.m. Investigation by officer on East Street – minor fuel spill.

11:01 a.m. Medical emergency on Kimball Road - difficulty breathing.

3:03 p.m. Medical emergency on Partridge Lane - lifeline accidental.

May 6

3:39 p.m. Motor vehicle accident on Patch Meadow Lane - no injuries.

May 7

6:59 p.m. Medical assist on Ledgeways - non emergency – call cancelled.
