Police Blotter

March 30

8:21 a.m. Patrol provided transportation home for a resident whose car was parked in the center and wouldn’t start.

9:06 a.m. A resident who had been given a counterfeit bill brought it to the station.

12:25 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Indian Hill.

March 31

1:48 a.m. Patrol assisted a resident at the scene of a house lock-out on West Street.

10:37 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of an odor investigation on Buttrick Lane.

7:09 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Stearns Street.

April 1

12:34 p.m. A resident came to the station for information and was advised.

8:51 p.m. A suspicious person was reported on River Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

April 2

9:52 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Ledgeways Road.

3:48 p.m. A resident reported an email scam and was advised.

April 3

1 a.m. A resident swerved to avoid a deer and hit a pole at Concord Street and Buttrick Lane. There was no injury.

12:59 p.m. A cell phone found at Curve Street and the bogs was brought to the station and later picked up by the owner.

7:22 p.m. Crank calls received from a phone at Church Street and the Corey Building were traced to kids: the appropriate persons were advised.

April 4

12:50 a.m. A South Street resident reported a smashed mailbox and debris in the road. Concord Police picked up the information on their scanner, connected the incident with vandalism in Concord, and was able to apprehend the responsible party.

2:29 a.m. Patrol investigated people walking on the road at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. The situation checked okay.

10:30 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of 50 bicyclists riding four abreast on Bedford Road and had a negative find.

10:53 a.m. A Pheasant Hill Lane resident reported an animal in a tree: patrol investigated and had a negative find.

12:28 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on East Street.

April 5

1:07 a.m. DPW was notified of illegal dumping at Maple and Brook Streets.

7:12 a.m. DPW was notified of illegal dumping on Martin Street.

9:49 a.m. A group of bicyclists were reported riding four abreast at Westford and Curve Streets: patrol investigated and had a negative find.

11:56 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a minor vehicle accident that occurred on Forest Park Drive. There was no injury.

5:46 p.m. A dog attacked another dog on Acton Street. The Dog Officer was notified.
