Police Blotter

March 16

2:36 p.m. An abandoned 911 call, with an alarm sounding in the background, was received from a Lowell Street address. The scene checked okay.

6:42 p.m. A medical bag and paperwork were found at Curve Street and Hutchins Road.

March 17

9:52 a.m. DPW was notified of an accident involving a vehicle and a groundhog.

11:10 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Kimball Road and Wilkins Lane. It checked okay.

1:02 p.m. The operator of a cable truck in the roadway at Bedford Road and Stearns Street was advised.

March 18

1:29 p.m. The operator of a vehicle on Bedford Road was seen passing illegally and was advised.

1:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Great Brook Lane.

2:21 p.m. A license plate was found on Brook Street and brought to the station: the owner was notified.

3:51 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a propane leak on Acton Street.

March 19

12:11 p.m. Mutual aid was requested from Bedford Police who were trying to locate a possible stolen vehicle from Bedford.

12:54 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Heald Road.

9:34 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on North Road and it checked okay.

March 20

8:04 a.m. A citation was mailed to an erratic operator at Lowell Street and Ledgeways.

9:11 a.m. A complaint about speeding on West Street was referred to the traffic officer.

9:58 a.m. Police received a report of a deceased deer with a collar. The Fish and Wildlife office was notified.

2:02 p.m. A cordless phone was found at North Road and Rutland Street. A message was left for a friend of the owner.

4:44 p.m. A lost cell phone was found on Westford Street and brought to the station.

March 21

5:08 a.m. A Russell Street resident reported harassing phone calls and was advised.

5:38 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of an erratic vehicle at Lowell Street and the Chelmsford line and had a negative find.

12:38 p.m. A resident borrowed a Havaheart trap from the station.

7:03 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on River Road.

9:52 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a vehicle lockout at Morse Road and the Transfer Station.

10:12 p.m. A locker was reported stolen from the front yard of a Bedford Road residence.

March 22

1:12 p.m. Carlisle gave mutual aid to Acton at the scene of a pole that was down.

1:28 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Stearns Street residence and found the situation secure.

4:05 p.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a verbal argument on Baldwin Road and advised the persons involved.

8:03 p.m. Patrol assisted Chelmsford Police in looking for a robbery suspect.
