GREAT GIFT. By signing a guiding document Gleason Library formally accepted the Susan Zielinski Natural Science Fund in honor of Carlisle native Susan Zielinski (1970 - 2008). The fund will support library acquisitions and activitites relating to geology, ecology, wildlife and the environment. Pictured are Susan’s mother Sally Zielinski (left) and father Bob Zielinski (center) with (left to right) Library Trustee Priscilla Stevens, Library Director Angela Mollet and Trustees Ann Rosas and Dale Ryder. PRESIDENTIAL POST. Students in Mrs. Vanaria’s and Mrs. Foley’s first-grade classes celebrate receiving a letter from President Obama on March 10. The students sent letters to him last November to wish him well and offer advice such as “end the war,” “get a dog,” “make jobs” and “have fun.” (Photo by Cynthia Sorn)
