Police Blotter

February 9

7:04 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Judy Farm Road.

9:19 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of an oven fire on Bellows Hill Road.

1:05 p.m. A Worcester resident was stopped on South Street and subsequently arrested for attaching plates, operating an uninsured vehicle and operating an unregistered vehicle.

1:12 p.m. A set of two keys was found at Concord and South Street, tagged and placed in the Lost and Found at the station.

8:59 p.m. A Baldwin Road resident reported two unknown vehicles parked in his driveway. Patrol investigated and the situation checked okay.

February 10

7:21 a.m. A traffic complaint was logged about failure to yield at the rotary.

1:07 p.m. A well-being check was made on Cross Street.

6:52 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Way and called AAA.

February 11

11:13 a.m. A vehicle was stopped at Concord Street and Clark Farm Road; the operator was subsequently charged with displaying no front plate, having defective equipment and operating with a suspended license.

2:27 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of two children on the ice on the Concord River and found the situation checked okay.

6:20 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

February 12

1:47 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Cross Street.

3:47 p.m. A 911 call was received from the elevator at the Gleason Library. This proved to be a false alarm.

5:06 p.m. A safety hazard was caused by a tree down on Brook Street. The tree was removed.

February 13

2:04 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle at Lowell Street and the State Park; the occupants were advised to move along.

11:18 a.m. A wallet was found at Curve Street and the bogs; the owner was identified and contacted and later picked it up at the station.

12:40 p.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

12:55 p.m. DPW removed a tree in the roadway on Heald Road that created a traffic hazard.

1:09 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a truck blocking the roadway at East Street and Milne Cove Road and had a negative find.

5:02 p.m. A Rocky Point resident reported a verbal threat.

February 14

5:50 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at the Town Hall; it checked okay.

February 15

4:12 p.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a possible domestic dispute on Lowell Street; the parties were advised.

5:27 p.m. A vehicle struck a mail box on East Street.

February 16

12:51 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at the State Park and Lowell Street. The occupants were advised to move along.

8:15 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check on Church Street.

9:06 a.m. Two car seats were installed at the station.

11:32 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at North Road and the canoe launch.

1:10 p.m. Two car seats were installed at the station.

2:49 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Curve Street and called AAA.

8:09 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on Lowell Street and the operator subsequently arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol.

12:58 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at the station.

February 17

2:19 a.m. A bicycle was found at Curve and Fiske Streets.

1:09 p.m. A resident previously involved in a domestic dispute contacted the station for legal advice.

3:29 p.m. A roll-over accident occurred at North Road and the canoe launch. A Lowell woman swerved to avoid an approaching vehicle, went into a snow bank and hit a stone. She was transported to Emerson Hospital and released the same day.

February 18

11:54 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Blaisdell Drive.

2:02 p.m. A cell phone was reported lost at Lowell Street and the ski barn.

2:14 p.m. DPW was notified of sink holes in the road at West Street and Old Quarry Drive.

6:54 p.m. DPW was advised of road conditions town-wide.

8:46 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Tanglewood Way and Great Brook Park. The situation checked okay and the operator was assisted.

February 19

10:01 a.m. A car seat was installed at the station.

12:11 p.m. A Robbins Drive resident reported suspicious email and was assisted.

5:44 p.m. Patrol was unsuccessful at the scene of a house lockout on East Riding Drive.

10:05 p.m. DPW was notified that the back roads were getting icy.

February 20

1:48 a.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey.

1:47 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Cutter’s Ridge Road; it was confirmed accidental.

February 21

2:57 p.m. A dog complaint from Estabrook Road was investigated with a negative find. The dog officer was notified.

10:36 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported a past coyote sighting.

February 22

8:19 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at East and Maple Streets. It checked okay.
