Police Blotter

January 26

9:42 a.m. A resident reported past bullying at school. Police determined the school was aware of the situation.

1:21 p.m. Possible identity theft was reported to the inspector. The theft included phone calls, payments and charges on other bills which had not been made by the reporting resident.

January 27

12:12 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Page Brook Road residence. The property appeared secure and a card was left for the resident.

1:30 p.m. A car skidded and did some damage to groomed trails at the ski barn at the state park.

2:27 p.m. DPW was notified of glass in the roadway at Lowell Street and North Road.

3:44 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Brook Street.

January 28

6:27 a.m. A car was reported off the road at Bedford Road and Green Cemetery; patrol had a negative find.

7:35 p.m. DPW was notified of icy road conditions in the town.

January 29

8:34 a.m. The operators of trucks blocking the roadway at Bedford and River Roads were advised to move them.

10:33 a.m. A Comcast truck blocking the roadway at Bedford Road and Stearns Street was advised and moved along.

1:12 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bedford Road.

2:23 p.m. A parking complaint was received from the school about parents picking up children in the Corey and Church Street parking lots and impeding buses. Police put up cones in the area.

7:18 p.m. A disabled vehicle was reported at Concord Street and Indian Hill Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

January 30

8:11 a.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a verbal domestic dispute on Heald Road.

12:25 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Clark Farm Road.

12:36 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported receiving harassing mail.

2:34 p.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

January 31

12:07 p.m. A complaint was received about a car parked at School Street and the First Religious Society. The car was moved.

February 1

11:52 a.m. Church parking caused a traffic hazard at School and Church Streets. A ticket was issued.

12:06 p.m. A Fiske Street resident made a complaint against a neighbor.

1:23 p.m. Patrol investigated an abandoned 911 call on Acton Street and found the situation checked okay.

5:17 p.m. A stolen street sign from River Road and Prospect Street was recovered. ∆

No Fire Log was submitted to the Mosquito this week.
