A glance at Concord’s school administration

If Carlisle shares school administrative personnel with Concord, the Carlisle Public School will be supervised by a much larger team that has responsibility for about 3,100 students. The Concord school system includes three elementary schools, two middle schools, and the Ripley building, which houses the school administration and pre-school classes. These schools and the Concord-Carlisle Regional High School (CCHS) are led by Superintendent Diana Rigby.

Personnel who report to Rigby include Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Operations John Flaherty, Human Resource Administrator Kelly McCausland, Director of Teaching and Learning Kathy Codianne, Director of Special Education K-12 Jessica Murphy, CCHS Principal Peter Badalament, Principal Arthur Unobskey who oversees both Sanborn and Peabody Middle Schools, and a principal at each of the three elementary schools.

The District Accountant, the Finance and Business Office staff, Director of Information Technology Gene Warfel, Facilities Manager Dave Anderson, the Food Services Manager and Transportation Manager Manley Boyce all report to Flaherty.

The METCO director for K-12, the director of adult and community education, the Center for Parents and Teachers coordinator and secretarial support staff all report to Codianne. ∆
