Police Blotter

January 12

5:19 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Garnet Rock Lane.

10:40 a.m. The dog officer was notified of three dogs running down deer on Concord Street. Patrol had a negative find.

2:37 p.m. A possible traffic hazard was reported at Concord Street and Buttrick Lane. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

3:48 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported harassing phone calls and was advised.

5:11 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Stoney Gate residence. The property was secured.

January 13

9:07 a.m. A utility truck was reported to be blocking the roadway at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

10:10 a.m. A parking ticket and warning were issued for a parking violation at School Street and the Spalding Building.

10:41 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Westford Street.

12:10 p.m. A vehicle accident occurred on Curve Street; there were no injuries.

1:04 p.m. A past hit-and-run vehicle accident on School Street was reported and the reporting individual was advised.

2:20 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported suspicious mail.

3:12 p.m. A verbal disagreement on Heald Road was resolved by the parties involved.

3:47 p.m. A lady’s wallet was found on Westford Street, brought to the station and later picked up by the owner.

5 p.m. A restraining order for a Heald Road resident was extended and updated.

5:50 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout at Morse Road and the Transfer Station.

8:42 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle stuck in snow on School Street.

9:09 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a man standing and obstructing a vehicle on Maple Street; he checked okay.

January 14

1:47 p.m. DPW was advised of snow blocking the sight line at Westford and Concord Streets.

5:02 p.m. Patrol responded at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Concord Street and found AAA was en route.

January 15

8:49 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Wolf Rock Road.

9:04 a.m. A two-car minor vehicle accident occurred on West Street; there was no personal injury.

2:33 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on Bedford Road and an Essex, Massachusetts, resident subsequently arrested for operating with a revoked license and two other charges.

5:28 p.m. Patrol assisted on Concord Street where an oil truck was stuck in a driveway.

8:47 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout at Acton Street and Koning Farm Road.

11:01 p.m. A deer in the roadway at Lowell Street and Wolf Rock Road created a safety hazard until it ran off.

January 16

1:10 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Hemlock Hill Road where there was a fire alarm activation.

8:10 a.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

3:06 p.m. A past vehicle accident was reported at the station; it was logged.

4:48 p.m. A Nowell Farme Road resident reported a missing clarinet; it was found at the school.

6:04 p.m. A suspicious letter reported by a Concord Street resident was referred to the postal inspector.

8:03 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle at Lowell Street and North Road.

January 17

2:46 a.m. Parkers at Church Street and the Corey parking lot were advised to move on.

8:28 a.m. A resident reported a past vehicle accident.

2:11 p.m. A resident in receipt of a restraining order was advised of the process for getting property from the house.

3:47 p.m. A resident removed property from a Heald Road house while patrol stood by to keep the peace.

9:19 p.m. An injured deer was reported in the middle of the road at Concord Street and Indian Hill Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

10:05 p.m. A dead deer in the roadway at Concord Street and Audubon Lane was moved.

January 18

11:05 a.m. A disabled car stuck in the snow at Bedford Road and Stearns Street was moved.

11:09 a.m. A disabled vehicle at Concord and Church Streets was started and got on its way.

11:26 p.m. DPW was notified of snow-covered roads and slick road conditions.

6:37 p.m. An alarm from an East Street residence was caused by a faulty smoke detector battery.

January 4

11:38 a.m. A horse was stuck in the mud on River Road and was assisted out of it.

January 6

5:36 a.m. EMTs responded at the scene of a medical emergency on Rutland Street. A 76-year-old male refused transport.

7:26 a.m. A 76-year-old male with a medical emergency was transported from Rutland Street to the Lahey Clinic with ALS on board.

7:44 a.m. A 50-year-old woman with a medical emergency was transported from Wildwood Drive to Emerson Hospital in the Concord ambulance. ALS and the Carlisle ambulance were on another call and unavailable.

10:04 a.m. An older female fell at the library and refused transport.

January 10

8:17 a.m. An 84-year-old female with a medical emergency was transported from East Riding Drive to the Lahey Clinic. ALS was cancelled.

4:54 p.m. A fire alarm investigation was made on River Road. The alarm was caused by workmen soldering in the building.

January 11

10:35 a.m. A 46-year-old female with a medical emergency was transported from Concord Street to Emerson Hospital.

January 12

5:20 a.m. A 56-year-old woman with heart/chest pain was transported from Garnet Rock Lane to Lahey Clinic with ALS.

January 13

8:58 a.m. A fire alarm investigation was made on Berry Corner Lane. The alarm was accidental.

January 15

8:50 a.m. A 76-year-old woman on Wolf Rock Road was transported to Emerson Hospital with ALS.

January 16

1:11 a.m. A fire alarm investigation was made on Hemlock Hill Road. The alarm was caused by a battery problem.
