Police Blotter

December 8

7:39 a.m. Police stopped a car at Bedford Road and Canterbury Court; the operator of the vehicle will be summonsed for operating with a suspended license.

1:53 p.m. An Aberdeen Drive resident came to the Police Station to be fingerprinted.

2:36 p.m. A suspicious vehicle on Clark Farm Road checked okay.

3:41 p.m. A Stoney Gate resident reported hearing possible gunshots. Patrol investigated with a negative find.

December 9

7:45 a.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a past possible coyote sighting.

12:05 p.m. DPW was notified of a rotted tree on Bedford Road.

1:20 p.m. Patrol logged a one-way violation on Foss Lane at River Road.

1:47 p.m. An overdue male was reported on Church Street but later returned okay.

2:01 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a box alarm on Church Street.

2:57 p.m. A sex offender reported to the Police Station for a required annual registration.

3:53 p.m. An East Street resident reported a suspicious package.

4:35 p.m. NSTAR was advised of a power outage on Lowell Street.

4:45 p.m. Patrol investigated the burglar alarm at the Spalding Building and it checked okay.

December 10

1:18 a.m. Patrol removed branches from the roadway on Bedford Road.

2:15 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a power outage reported on Tophet Road.

7:46 a.m. NSTAR and Verizon were notified of a branch on wires and a cracked pole on Rockland Road.

8:14 a.m. A well-being check on Church Street was okay.

11:06 a.m. An East Street resident reported a possible breaking and entering to a trailer. Patrol found no entry was attempted and nothing was found missing.

3:36 p.m. A Spencer Brook Lane resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

6:27 p.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey.

December 11

7:48 a.m. A Heald Road resident reported a natural gas odor outside. Keyspan was notified. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene.

2:48 p.m. A car was stopped at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. The operator, who was from out of town, will be summonsed for operating with a revoked license.

4:08 p.m. A blue spruce tree was cut down on Curve Street.

4:30 p.m. The burglar alarm at the Spalding Building was set off by a power problem.

5:26 p.m. A minor vehicle accident occurred on Stearns Street when a car went into a mailbox.

8:38 p.m. Patrol removed a large tree that was down in the road on Westford Street.

10:35 p.m. A tree was removed from the roadway at Westford Street and the Westford line.

10:44 p.m. A tree in the road at Lowell Street and Orchard Acres Drive was removed.

11:23 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a large tree in the road at Concord and Russell Streets and had a negative find.

11:36 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a wire down at Bingham Road and Cross Street.

December 12

12:27 a.m. The roadway at Concord Street and Indian Hill Road was cleared where a wire was down.

12:31 a.m. DPW was advised of a tree in the road on Westford Street.

12:43 a.m. Patrol removed a tree from the road at Concord and South Streets.

12:44 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a tree on wires on Estabrook Road.

1:08 a.m. Patrol removed multiple tree limbs in the road at Lowell Street and the Chelmsford line; DPW was advised.

1:15 a.m. DPW was notified of multiple limbs in the road at West and Acton Streets.

2:04 a.m. Patrol removed a tree blocking Lowell Street.

2:18 a.m. NSTAR was advised of lines across the road on Westford Street.

2:40 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a tree in wires at West Street and Log Hill Road.

3:43 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Autumn Lane.

4:38 a.m. Patrol investigated a vehicle accident at Westford Street and the Westford line. NSTAR was advised of a tree on wires at the same site.

4:45 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a tree on wires on Acton Street.

6:25 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at Westford Street on the Westford line, where a tree was on wires.

7:12 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a wire fire at Concord and South Streets.

8:40 a.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on Nowell Farme Road.It was waiting for a tow.

8:44 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a wire fire at River Road and Foss Way.

8:52 a.m. DPW was advised of flooding in the roadway on South Street.

9:09 a.m. NSTAR and the DPW were notified of a tree that brought down wires on Cross Street.

9:10 a.m. DPW was advised that Milne Cove Road and Laurelwood Drive roadways were flooded.

9:36 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Robbins Drive at the scene of a fire alarm.

10:31 a.m. Police assisted at the scene of a domestic dispute at the station.

10:53 a.m. A Westford Street resident reported a lost license plate. Patrol had a negative find.

11:55 a.m. Verizon was notified of an open 911 line reported by an Autumn Lane resident.

1:40 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Cross Street where there was a water problem in the basement.

1:43 p.m. NSTAR was advised of a low-hanging wire on Brook Street.

2:08 p.m. Brush was dumped on Berry Corner Lane. The offenders were advised.

2:30 p.m. Verizon and NSTAR were notified of a broken pole with wires down on River Road.

3:55 p.m. Patrol assisted NSTAR on Lowell Street.

December 13

1:06 p.m. Comcast was notified of a cable TV wire down on Sunset Road.

1:31 p.m. DPW was notified of an icy roadway on North Road.

3:37 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Ember Lane.

7:04 p.m. An East Street resident reported theft over the Internet.

9:19 p.m. Brush was dumped in the roadway on North Road. A message was left for DPW.

December 14

5:23 a.m. A fire alarm was reported sounding on Brook Street. It was a malfunction.

9:48 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on South Street.

11:39 a.m. A bicyclist complaint was received for the Bedford Road and Stearns Street area. Patrol had a negative find.

6:31 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a branch on wires at Morse Road and the Transfer Station. ∆

December 12

7:12 a.m. A fire crew responded to wires burning on South Street and stood by until NSTAR arrived.

8:23 a.m. A carbon monoxide investigation was conducted on Carriage Way. No carbon monoxide was found.

8:44 a.m. No problem was found at River Road and Foss Way where wires were reported burning. NSTAR was notified.

9:35 a.m. A fire alarm investigation was conducted on Robbins Drive. No smoke or fire was found.

9:43 a.m. A life line call was received from a Concord Street resident. The patient refused transport.

1:39 p.m. A water problem was reported on Cross Street. The water was pumped out. Also, carbon monoxide was detected due to a burner problem and this was removed.

December 13

3:39 p.m. A 91-year-old female who fell was transported to Emerson Hospital.
