7:30 a.m. Patrol investigated what appeared to be an unauthorized hunting blind on West Street and determined it was an old blind and not a new, illegal one.
10:21 a.m. An Ember Lane resident reported suspicious email.
12:42 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a branch on power lines on Bingham Road.
4:01 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.
4:22 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm at Church Street and the Wilkins Building.
6:25 p.m. Patrol assisted a person in the State Park who had lost something in the park. The missing object was found.
11:22 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported a person pounding on the door, who then ran off.
2:05 a.m. Patrol found the rear gate to Foss Field not secure. The area was checked and the gate secured.
10:56 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a speeder heading inbound at West Street and the Concord Line and had a negative find.
4:42 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm received from an Old Quarry Drive residence and found the situation checked okay.
10:17 p.m. A child’s bicycle was found at North Road and the canoe launch, brought to the station and tagged.
9:16 a.m. A two-car accident occurred on West Street; there was no injury.
10:22 a.m. A resident borrowed a Hav-a-heart trap at the Police Station.
5 :26 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported the theft of a wallet from a vehicle parked outside the house on Lowell Street.
6:00 p.m. A warning ticket was issued for a vehicle illegally parked at Russell Street and Robbins Lane.
1:34 a.m. Patrol was unable to locate a dog reported missing at East Street and Nickles Lane.
7:16 a.m. Police investigated vandalism at Bedford Road and Banta-Davis Field. Signs were ripped out, a net was in the field and other damage to the property was noted.
9:13 a.m. A vehicle accident occurred on Bedford Road. The vehicle was towed.
1:35 p.m. An Acton Street resident reported a fraudulent credit card claim.
7:35 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Bedford Road.
10:20 a.m. A Virginia Farme Lane resident reported an injured possum; the animal was put down.
2:14 p.m. A parking ticket and a fine were issued for illegal parking at School Street and the Spalding Building.
6:53 p.m. A School Street resident reported suspicious phone calls and was advised.
9:50 a.m. A lost license plate was brought to the station.
3:09 p.m. An East Riding Drive resident contacted the station for legal assistance on a civil matter.
5:35 p.m. A Maple Street resident reported leaves stuffed into his mailbox.
7:19 p.m. Patrol investigated a reported suspicious vehicle on West Street. There was damage to the vehicle and no one was around. The plates were run and police contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who had skidded and left the car. There were no injuries.
5:26 a.m. Loose horses were found on Craigie Circle and returned to their owner.
9:14 a.m. DPW and utilities were notified of a tree in the roadway on Acton Street.
5:41 a.m. The owner of a cell phone that was found and brought to the station was contacted.
4:19 p.m. A fire alarm box alarm was received from the Corey School Building. This was caused by someone drilling the concrete wall in the auditorium, which activated the smoke detector there.
9:12 a.m. A minor motor vehicle accident occurred on West Street. There were no injuries.
9:14 a.m. A motor vehicle accident occurred on Bedford Road. There were no reported injuries, but one driver was transported to Emerson Hospital for an evaluation.
