Police Blotter

October 6

12:32 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a Buttrick Lane residence; all appeared secure.

3 :25 p.m. Patrol assisted with traffic at Church Street and the Corey gym.

October 7

1:04 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on Lowell Street and a 33-year-old Carlisle man was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle and attaching plates. He will be summonsed.

1:29 p.m. Cash was found on Lowell Street and brought to the station.

3:03 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

4:14 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

9:28 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Field: it checked okay.

9:52 p.m. A Prospect Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the street; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

October 8

8:29 a.m. A resident in the Church Street apartments complained about noise. Patrol investigated and found the noise was caused by building maintenance.

9:02 a.m. Patrol assisted at Bedford Road and the rotary where a Bedford Charter Service school bus was disabled.

4:28 p.m. A vehicle hit a bicycle at Westford and Acton Streets. The operator of the vehicle was charged with DUI, 2nd offense; driving recklessly and driving to endanger; marked lane violation; and having an open container. He was held overnight at the station and brought to court the next day. The bicyclist sustained a possible broken arm and was transported to the hospital.

5 :09 p.m. An Autumn Lane resident reported a past dispute with neighbors and was advised.

7:16 p.m. A resident came to the station to report a credit card account had been opened in his name without his permission. He obtained this information when he received a bill for purchases at a Watertown clothing store.

October 9

10:03 a.m. Patrol assisted at East and Old East Streets where there was a disabled trailer.

10:31 a.m. A 911 call from the elevator at the library was confirmed accidental.

2:55 p.m. Two child car seats were installed at the station.

9:12 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

October 10

1:52 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a fire alarm on Buttrick Lane.

9:22 a.m. A Cross Street resident complained about speeding trucks and was advised.

9:37 a.m. Patrol responded to a civil matter on Elizabeth Ridge Road where there was a payment dispute. The party was advised.

2:18 p.m. A landscaping truck operator moved his vehicle after learning the truck was parked illegally.

9:32 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from a South Street residence and found the property appeared secure.

9:38 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was stopped at Concord and South Streets and checked okay.

10:34 p.m. A Sunset Road resident reported a dog constantly barking. Patrol had a negative find.

11:18 p.m. A suspicious vehicle and person at Bedford Road and the boat launch were advised to leave.

October 11

9:13 a.m. DPW was advised of a deceased deer on East Street.

10:23 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bedford Road.

2:08 p.m. A cell phone was found at Curve and Fiske Streets; police notified the owner.

2:27 p.m. A Westford Street resident reported a stolen political sign.

2:52 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

5:35 p.m. A resident reported a stolen wallet and was referred to Cambridge police because the wallet was taken in Cambridge.

7:20 p.m. A deceased deer was reported on Russell Street.

October 12

2:23 p.m. DPW was notified of a deceased deer on Westford Street.

4:55 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

6:29 p.m. Patrol investigated a complaint from a Rutland Street resident about a dog barking and had a negative find.

1:41 p.m. A 61-year-old female with a medical emergency was transported from Brook Street to Emerson Hospital with ALS.

10:21 p.m. A 54-year-old Rockland Road resident who was not feeling well refused transport.

September 29

5:05 a.m. A vehicle accident occurred on Concord Street; there were no reported injuries.

4:43 p.m. An alarm company reported fire alarm activation at a Hutchins Road residence. This was a malfunction.

September 30

4:30 p.m. A 31-year-old Bedford Road resident having an allergic reaction to a bee sting refused transport. ALS was cancelled.

October 2

12:31 a.m. EMTs responded to a medical emergency on Woodbine Road. A 50-year-old female refused transport.

October 3

3:10 p.m. An 80-year-old male with a medical emergency was transported from Forest Park Drive to the Lahey Clinic. ALS responded and released to BLS (Basic Life Support).
