Police Blotter

August 25

4:24 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Wolf Rock Road at the scene of a medical emergency.

1:10 p.m. Signs put up on town property at Lowell Street and Sunset Road were removed.

9:58 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a bat or a bird in the basement.

August 26

2:34 a.m. Carlisle Police assisted Westford in looking for missing children who were subsequently found in Westford.

6:56 a.m. Patrol assisted at Bedford Road and East Street where a bicyclist was hit by another vehicle.

10:01 a.m. The speed monitor was deployed at Brook Street and Timothy Lane.

1:26 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Church Street.

3:12 p.m. A parking warning was issued at School Street and the Spalding Building.

August 27

1:55 a.m. A 14-year-old resident walking alone on East Street was transported home.

9:15 a.m. A large truck parked on the road at South Street and Heald Road was reported and subsequently moved.

12:20 p.m. A resident came to the station to report Internet fraud on e-Bay.

2:38 p.m. A Nowell Farme Road resident reported a small oil leak on an outside tank.

4:57 p.m. A wallet was found on Tophet Road and brought to the station.

6:27 p.m. A dog found running in the roadway at Lowell Street and North Road was returned to its owner.

August 28

9 a.m. A vehicle accident occurred at Concord and Westford Streets. There were no injuries.

9:13 a.m. The dog officer was notified of a barking dog on Robbins Drive.

9:57 a.m. A warning was issued for illegal parking at School Street and the Spalding Building.

12:19 p.m. Equipment fell off a truck at Curve and Westford Streets and paint was found in the roadway.

4 p.m. A selective enforcement traffic operation began at 4 p.m. and ended at 11:32 p.m. Seventeen vehicles were stopped.

11:40 p.m. A North Road resident reported a stray cat in the house. Patrol assisted at the scene.

August 29

12:15 p.m. A traffic enforcement operation began at 12:15 p.m. Eleven stops were made before the operation concluded, at 3:44 p.m.

2:33 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Indian Hill.

10:44 p.m. Three boys were riding on skateboards at East Street and Blaisdell Drive; one was naked. They were stopped and returned to their parents, who were advised.

August 30

5:55 a.m. A Westford Street resident reported a bat in the bedroom; it was removed.

August 31

10:50 a.m. A complaint about a bicyclist at West and Acton Streets was received.

12:58 p.m. Past lawn turfing on Pilgrim Path was reported.

2:44 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on East Street. Its operator, a Cambridge resident, was subsequently arrested for operating with a suspended license.

8:56 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Westford and Concord Streets. The operator was found to be in possession of marijuana and will be summonsed on drug violation charges.

September 2

12:08 a.m. Patrol assisted a Lowell Street resident with a non-medical emergency.

7 a.m. A speed monitor was deployed at Church Street and the Wilkins Building.

7 a.m. A speed monitor was deployed at School Street and the Spalding Building.

8:21 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Concord Street.

10:03 a.m. The dog officer was notified of a complaint of barking dogs on Robbins Drive.

10:07 a.m. A second complaint of barking dogs from the same address as the previous item was also referred to the dog officer.

10:39 a.m. Patrol made a well-being check on Lowell Street, found the resident in need of medical assistance, called the Fire Department for an emergency response and assisted with transport.

11:10 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Bedford Road.

2:59 p.m. Children reported missing from Ember Lane were found.

10:04 p.m. A Prospect Street resident reported hearing fireworks. It was determined that they were in Concord.

September 3

11:17 a.m. NSTAR was advised of a branch on wires on Autumn Lane.

4:35 p.m. Empty beer cans and miscellaneous items were found on Kimball Road.

5:24 p.m. Patrol assisted an East Street resident where heavy equipment was being moved.

6:50 p.m. A bicyclist was reported possibly down at Bedford and River Roads. Patrol had a negative find.

September 4

8:13 a.m. A Robbins Drive resident complained of barking dogs. It was determined that the dogs in question were in the house.

11:42 a.m. Police investigated a report of possible illegal drug activity on North Road and found marijuana was being grown on the site. The matter continues under investigation.

September 5

7:03 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Page Brook Road at the scene of fire alarm activity.

12:23 p.m. Bicyclists were stopped at Concord Street and Clark Farm Road for multiple traffic violations.

3:08 p.m. A Berry Corner Lane resident reported a stolen lap-top computer.

September 6

7:06 a.m. DPW was notified of a large tree in the road on North Road. The tree was cleared.

11:03 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree on the wire on East Street.

6:36 p.m. A loud bang and a flash of light were reported at South Street and Heald Road. It was determined that a transformer blew and NSTAR was advised.

10:44 p.m. A Stearns Street resident reported rainwater running off from the street was draining into his garage.

September 7

1:41 a.m. DPW was notified of a tree in the roadway at Curve and Martin Streets.

1:50 a.m. DPW was notified of a stream in the road on South Street.

2:20 a.m. A primary wire down at Concord and Church Streets created a safety hazard. NSTAR was notified and repaired the wire.

7:22 a.m. DPW was advised of branches on the side of the road on West Street.

10:38 a.m. DPW was advised of a tree in the roadway on Brook Street.

6 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bedford Road.

9:15 p.m. The persons responsible for loud music and drums reported on Timothy Lane were advised.

10:46 p.m. A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Bedford Road. ∆

August 22

12:47 p.m. A fire crew investigated an alarm at the school: it was determined to have been accidentally set off by workers.

August 23

1:08 a.m. A 56-year-old female was transported with ALS from Acton Street to Emerson Hospital.

August 24

4:13 p.m. An alarm company reported a general fire alarm activation on Curve Street. The cause was unknown.

4:41 p.m. A Life-line call for a medical emergency was received from a Concord Street location. No one was at the residence and the call was considered accidental.

8:28 p.m. An alarm company reported a general fire alarm from a Sunset Road residence. The system was reset before the Fire Department’s arrival and nothing was found when they arrived.

August 25

4:24 a.m. A fire crew responded to a medical emergency on Wolf Rock Road. A 77-year-old female fell and was transported to Lahey Clinic.

August 26

6:57 a.m. A bicyclist was hit by a car on Bedford Road and transported to Emerson Hospital. ALS was called and cancelled.

August 29

2:34 p.m. A 76-year-old female fell and was unable to get up on her own; she was transported from Indian Hill to Emerson Hospital with ALS on board.

September 2

8:22 a.m. A 94-year-old female was transported from Concord Road to Emerson Hospital.

10:51 a.m. A 78-year-old female was transported from Lowell Street to the Lahey Clinic.

11:12 a.m. A 42-year-old male was transported by the Concord Fire Department ambulance from Bedford Road to Emerson Hospital with ALS assistance.

5:33 p.m. A 100-year-old female with a medical emergency was transported from Church Street to Emerson Hospital.

September 5

7:03 a.m. An alarm company reported a fire alarm activation on Page Brook Road caused by cooking.

September 7

10:43 p.m. A bicyclist was injured in an accident on Bedford Road and transported to Emerson Hospital. ∆
