State primary on September 16
Polls will be open at Town Hall on Tuesday, September 16 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Massachusetts primary election. On the ballots are candidates for Massachusetts and U.S. senator and representative, councillor and register of probate.
Absentee ballots are available until noon on Monday, September 15 and must be received by the Town Clerk by 8 p.m. on September 16. Those who will be out of town on election day may stop by Town Hall and vote by absentee ballot. One may also request a ballot application for family members, in which case the ballot will be mailed directly to the absentee voter.
The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is October 15. For more information, contact the Town Clerk’s office at 1-978-369-6155. ∆
