June 30

5:34 p.m. A tree blocking the roadway on Log Hill Road was removed.

9:51 p.m. A Hutchins Road resident reported a loud noise. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

10:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a wire fire on Baldwin Road.

July 1

9:58 a.m. A Concord Street resident reported his driveway was damaged. It was determined a paving company had picked the wrong driveway; the matter was resolved by the parties involved, with the paving company assuming responsibility for the error.

10:10 a.m. An Autumn Lane resident reported a juvenile possibly driving without a license. At 10:20 a.m. another Autumn Lane resident reported the same juvenile for the same reason. It was determined that the juvenile in question had a valid learners permit.

2:16 p.m. Utilities were notified of a low hanging wire on Concord Street.

2:53 p.m. A tow truck blocked the roadway on Lowell Street.

3:15 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled truck on Westford Street.

8:58 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a fire alarm on River Road.

9:01 p.m. Police investigated a burglar alarm from School Street and the Robbins/Link building. The situation appeared secure.

July 2

9:04 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Lowell Street.

11:45 a.m. A parking ticket was issued for a landscape truck on the sidewalk on East Street.

July 3

6:44 a.m. A vehicle parked in the bushes at Curve Street and Hutchins Road checked okay.

10:22 a.m. A Stearns Street resident reported an unwanted male.

2:58 p.m. A past irate driver complaint was filed for an incident at Concord and Westford Streets.

4:52 p.m. A Russell Street resident reported a credit card had been stolen and used. The matter is under investigation.

6:10 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at East and Rutland Streets. A summons will be issued for operating with a revoked license.

6:31 p.m. DPW removed a tree in the road on Curve Street.

6:35 p.m. Patrol investigated a neighbors’ dispute about a barking dog on Estabrook Road; the owner of the dog was advised.

6:37 p.m. DPW cleared a tree from the roadway at Concord and South Streets.

6:38 p.m. A tree was reported in the roadway at River Road and the Concord line. Patrol had a negative find.

July 4

1:09 a.m. The occupants of a suspicious vehicle on Lowell Street were advised.

1:17 a.m. A tree limb was removed from the road on West Street.

1:19 a.m. A tree limb was removed from the road at West Street and Hobblebush Lane.

2:08 a.m. Patrol advised persons at a loud party on Lowell Street.

7:42 a.m. A large tree limb was removed from the roadway at North and Pine Brook Roads.

7:52 a.m. A tree across the road at Westford Street and the Westford line was removed by DPW.

9:38 a.m. DPW was advised of a tree blocking the roadway on Suffolk Lane.

9:41 p.m. Keys were reported lost at Bedford Road and the boat launch.

10:33 p.m. The Greenough land lot on Maple Street was checked and was okay.

July 5

2:11 p.m. Horses were loose on Craigie Circle; police put them back inside the fence.

10:18 p.m. Patrol assisted an elderly resident on Church Street.

11:11 p.m. A Cross Street resident reported shots were heard; patrol had a negative find.

11:20 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Cross Street. Marijuana was found in the vehicle and two people will be summonsed.

July 6

1:28 a.m. The Greenough land lot on Maple Street was checked.

9:16 a.m. A well-being check was made on Lowell Street and no one was home.

9:45 a.m. A suspicious person was stopped at Elizabeth Ridge Road and Sunset Road and subsequently arrested for illegal possession of a Class D substance and for trespassing.

1:33 p.m. A possibly intoxicated erratic operator was stopped at Westford Street and the Rotary. Patrol found everything checked okay.

10:25 p.m. A resident reported harassing phone calls and was advised.

July 7

9:20 a.m. A well being check was made on Lowell Street and no one was home.

1:01 p.m. The school was notified of a suspicious item in the woods by the school.

7:16 p.m. A complaint was received about a bicyclist at Lowell Street and the rotary.

11:29 p.m. A suspicious vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Field was advised to move along.

July 8

1:51 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle without a license plate on Nowell Farme Road.

2:06 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

11:18 a.m. The speed monitor was set up at Bedford Road and Maple Street.

2:03 p.m. A Hart Farm Road resident reported a fir tree had been cut down. The situation checked okay.

4:24 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

5:05 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

July 9

11:44 a.m. Suspicious females were reported on Old North Road., Patrol had a negative find.

6:35 p.m. Patrol investigated a parking complaint about a vehicle parked at Curve and Westford Streets and found it checked okay.

6:59 p.m. Wires were reported arcing against a tree at Concord Street and Bingham Road.

8:05 p.m. A complaint about construction work noise on North Road was investigated and the workers advised to shut down.

9:23 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Kimball Road

and stopped the same vehicle at 10:02 p.m. at Curve and Fiske Streets. The operator will be summonsed for operating without a license.

9:40 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency at the Police Station.

10:44 p.m. Patrol investigated a light reported in a vacant house on Cross Street and had a negative find.

July 10

5:29 a.m. A Church Street resident reported a strange noise. Patrol investigated and found the situation checked okay.

5:43 a.m. A tree down and blocking the roadway at West Street and Log Hill Road was removed by the DPW.

11:59 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a CO detector activation on Litchfield Drive.

12:03 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a gas leak on Judy Farm Road.

12:40 p.m. A complaint about two men emptying bins at the transfer station was referred to the DPW.

1:31 p.m. A Heald Road home was broken into.

8:22 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglary alarm on Bedford Road and found the situation checked okay.

July 11

2:28 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Spalding Field and Church Street and advised the operator of the vehicle.

12:53 p.m. NSTAR was advised of a tree leaning on a pole at East Street and East Riding Drive.

1:49 p.m. A suspicious person opening a mail box was reported on Bedford Road. It was determined that a cleaning crew was putting fliers into mail boxes and they were advised.

3:19 p.m. Trucks creating a parking hazard on North Road were advised to move.

11:39 p.m. Gunshots were reported at West and Maple Streets; patrol had a negative find.

July 12

12:11 a.m. A complaint about noise on Buttrick Lane was investigated and the persons responsible for the noise advised.

8:24 a.m. A complaint about a bicyclist all over the road at East and Maple Street was investigated with a negative find.

9:38 a.m. Construction noise was reported on Pheasant Hill lane and the appropriate person advised.

10:14 a.m. A Comcast truck in the roadway at Lowell Street and Ember Lane was moved off the road.

2:02 p.m. A resident reported domestic assault.

3:24 p.m. Patrol was asked to make a well-being check on a cyclist and had a negative find.

4:19 p.m. Gunshots or possibly fireworks were reported on Swanson Lane.

4:56 p.m. Three youths were reported lying in the road at Lowell Street and North Road. Patrol had a negative find.

6:16 p.m. A large tree limb in the roadway on Westford Street was removed by patrol.

July 13

9:53 a.m. A tree limb was removed from the roadway at Bedford Road and Foss Way.

10:37 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency on Long Ridge Road.

1:25 p.m. Patrol assisted a Church Street resident

2:07 a.m. A 93-year-old woman having abdominal pain was transported from Westford Street to Emerson Hospital. ALS was called and cancelled.

July 9

9:40 p.m. A 41-year-old woman having difficulty breathing was transported from the police station to Emerson hospital. ALS responded and was cancelled.

July 10

12:00 p.m. A carbon monoxide investigation was made on Litchfield Drive. This was caused by a bad battery.

12:04 p.m. A natural gas leak on Judy Farm Road was caused by a contractor digging. The fire department officer shut off the gas and Key Span was notified.

July 11

12:43 p.m. One officer responded for a smoke detector problem on Stearns Street. This was caused by a dead battery.
