Police blotter

June 16

9:50 am. A bicyclist fell off her bicycle on Maple Street and sustained minor injuries. The fire department was notified.

1:06 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a medical emergency.

1:52 p.m. A dog was reported to be lying partially in the road on Lowell Street; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

June 17

7:57 a.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle at Concord and Westford Streets and found assistance was en route.

11:20 am. A large branch was reported on the wires at Concord and South Streets. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

11:55 a.m. NSTAR was notified of a pine branch across wires on Maple Street.

1:07 p.m. Patrol assisted on Concord Street where a turtle was in the road.

5:20 p.m. The have-a-heart trap at the station was borrowed.

7:32 p.m. The Restorative Justice circle met at the police station.

10:09 p.m. Patrol investigated suspicious persons and a suspicious vehicle at Banta-Davis field. The situation checked okay and the persons were advised.

11:11 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglary alarm at School Street and the Robbins/Link building. The situation appeared okay.

June 18

12:34 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road.

12:48 a.m. DPW was advised of trash dumped at Bedford Road and the boat launch.

3:11 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a turtle crossing at Rutland Street and Patch Meadow Lane and had a negative find.

June 19

6:23 p.m. A complaint was received about a bicyclist urinating in public at Lowell Street and the Municipal Lot; the individual was located and advised.

7:36 p.m. A disabled vehicle at Bedford and River Roads was moved off the roadway.

7:45 p.m. A Craigie Circle resident reported a past breaking and entering of a vehicle. Nothing was taken.

June 20

6:47 a.m. A disabled vehicle on Westford Street was towed by the owner.

2:36 p.m. A Fiske Street resident reported two boys lighting a fire in the back yard. Patrol investigated with a negative find and left a message for the adult at the residence.

3:43 p.m. A Hartwell Road resident reported an internet scam.

6:49 p.m. A vehicle was reported operating erratically on Pine Brook Road. Patrol investigated and stopped the vehicle; the operator will be summonsed for operating while using drugs.

9:58 p.m. Patrol checked the Greenough Land lot on Maple Street and found everything okay.

June 21

11:47 a.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a structure fire on South Street.

1:16 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a medical emergency.

3:20 p.m. A Curve Street resident reported a motorcycle driving fast up and down the street; patrol investigated and had a negative find.

9:28 p.m. Patrol investigated a fireworks complaint on Fiske Street and had a negative find.

June 22

1:49 p.m. NSTAR was notified of a tree leaning on wires on Lowell Street.

1:55 p.m. NSTAR was notified of wires down on Heald Road.

2:25 p.m. NSTAR was notified of wires sparking and electricity out on East Riding Drive.

5:47 p.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Westford Street. The house was secure and the alarm attributed to power outage.

6:51 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a fire alarm on Clark Farm Road. The alarm was accidental.

11:49 a.m. A fire in a garage on South Street was under control before the Fire Department arrived. A lawn tractor burned up inside the building.
