Town Meeting approves all Warrant Articles
Override of $251,610 faces final vote at Town Election on Tuesday, May 13

A quiet group of 265 residents attended Annual Town Meeting on May 5 and approved a total operating budget of $22,130,344, including a levy-limit override of $251,610. Candidates for town office take positions on key issues

Last Sunday, nine days before the Town Election on Tuesday, May 13, the annual Candidates Forum gave voters a chance to get to know the candidates better. Candidates made opening and closing statements, and responded to questions from the audience and moderator. Cable channel 10 added to Carlisle’s local access TV

Comcast cable TV subscribers in Carlisle can now add channel 10 to their menu of local viewing offered through Concord-Carlisle TV (CCTV). However, for the TV to automatically detect this new channel, some subscribers will need to run the “auto program” through the “channel set-up” menu option. ...more
