Police Blotter

April 21

1:21 a.m. Mailbox vandalism occurred on Curve Street.

1:22 a.m. Patrol removed an overturned bench from the roadway on Curve Street.

8:59 a.m. Mailbox vandalism was reported on Fiske Street.

9:18 a.m. Mailbox vandalism was reported on Curve Street.

3:37 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on Westford Street.

8 p.m. The Town Hall key was borrowed and returned.

April 22

2:41 p.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot.

10:28 p.m. Patrol investigated what appeared to be a small fire in the woods on Lowell Street. It was determined that candles only were involved.

April 23

7:15 a.m. Patrol investigated a residential burglar alarm on Fielding Farm Drive. The situation checked okay.

8:55 a.m. AAA was called for a disabled vehicle at Westford and Acton Streets.

9:24 a.m. Patrol assisted a disabled vehicle at Concord and Westford Streets with gas.

9:47 a.m. Patrol assisted on Bedford Road where a tractor-trailer unit was blocking traffic.

2:35 p.m. Police were informed that an advertisement at Lowell and Curve Streets had been removed.

6:27 p.m. A bicycle ticket and fine were issued at Lowell Street and Elizabeth Ridge Road for riding two abreast and not moving over.

6:52 p.m. A bicyclist was stopped on Bedford Road and ticketed and fined for riding two abreast and not moving over.

7:28 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

April 24

8:37 a.m. Mailbox vandalism was reported on Skelton Road.

11:18 a.m. Verizon was notified of a telephone pole hazard at Baldwin Road and Stearns Street.

6:05 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

9:51 p.m. A disabled vehicle was parked overnight at the ice cream stand parking lot on Bedford Road.

April 25

12:59 a.m. DPW was notified of a deceased raccoon on the road at East and Maple Streets.

9:04 a.m. DPW was advised of a raccoon in the roadway at East and Maple Streets.

11:22 a.m. A resident reported identity theft. The incident was investigated.

4:14 p.m. Patrol was successful at a vehicle lockout at the ice cream stand where children were inside the vehicle.

April 26

10:46 p.m. A ticket and fine were issued for a parking violation on Oak Knoll Road.

April 27

4:37 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

11:03 p.m. A bicycle was found on Rutland Street.

7:29 p.m. An 86-year-old male with a medical emergency was treated and transported to the hospital.

6:06 p.m. A 75-year-old woman with a medical emergency was treated and transported to the hospital.

12:47 p.m. An alarm investigation on Autumn Lane was triggered by burnt food.

4:34 p.m. An 82-year-old male with a medical emergency was treated and transported to the hospital.
