Police Blotter

February 11

7:30 a.m. A well-being check was made on a Prospect Street resident, who checked okay. Phone problems were identified and Verizon was contacted.

February 12

10:28 a.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road and found the owner had called AAA.

11:07 a.m. A vehicle in the roadway at East Street and Milne Cove Road was removed by the owner.

3:12 p.m. A warning was issued to the operator of a vehicle involved in a fire lane violation at Church Street and the Corey Building lot.

3:25 p.m. A ticket was issued and a fine charged to the owner of a car in a fire lane violation at School Street and the Spalding Building.

3:35 p.m. A ticket was issued and a fine charged to the owner of a vehicle involved in a parking violation at School Street and the Spalding Building.

3:43 p.m. A ticket was issued for a car parked in a handicapped parking space at Church Street and the Corey Building.

5:20 p.m. A truck blocking one side of the roadway and creating a traffic hazard at East Street and Ice Pond Road was removed.

9:18 p.m. DPW was called out for snow.

February 13

3:12 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

11:57 a.m. A one-ton truck became disabled at Lowell and Curve Streets. It did not create a hazard.

12:54 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Maple Street at the scene of a fire alarm.

4:37 p.m. DPW was notified of water standing on the roadway on Acton Street.

6:41 p.m. DPW was notified of water at the end of a driveway on South Street.

8:48 p.m. DPW was advised of water standing on the roadway at Cross and South Streets.

9:18 p.m. Glasses found at Church Street and the Corey Building were brought to the station.

February 14

12:28 a.m. A concerned parent contacted the station about a 17-year-old who had not returned home.

4:48 a.m. DPW was advised of slippery road conditions in the town.

10:16 a.m. An Oak Knoll Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the driveway; patrol investigated and the situation checked okay.

10:23 am. Patrol investigated a possible disabled vehicle on West Street.

1:11 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a possible disabled vehicle on North Road.

2:11 p.m. A vehicle parked at North Road and the canoe launch was removed.

6:36 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and Foss Way.

6:53 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road.

6:55 p.m. DPW was notified of icy roads at Westford and Cross Streets.

11:29 p.m. Carlisle assisted Concord Police looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run just over the line in Concord. They had a negative find.

February 15

8:54 a.m. Three horses at Lowell Street and Ember Lane were retrieved by the owner.

9:22 a.m. NStar was notified of a branch on the wires on Maple Street.

10:01 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a disabled vehicle on Westford Street.

10:13 a.m. A South Street resident requested plowing and DPW was advised.

10:24 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bedford Road.

10:39 a.m. Patrol provided coverage for a tractor-trailer blocking the road on East Street.

2:58 p.m. A vehicle ticket and fine were issued for a parking violation at School Street and the Spalding Building.

5:11 p.m. An Acton Street resident reported a cat bite.

6:14 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on School Street.

6:37 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

February 16

8:59 p.m. An Ember Lane resident reported sounds of an animal being attacked. Patrol had a negative find.

9:56 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road and found AAA was en route.

10:04 p.m. A missing Billerica female was found okay at a house in Carlisle.

February 17

5:39 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm on Kimball Road and found the situation appeared secure.

February 18

2:09 a.m. Patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle on Westford Street.

February 19

2:21 a.m. DPW was advised of icy road conditions.

7:12 a.m. Patrol investigated an RUOK (are you okay) alert and found everything okay.

10:04 a.m. Patrol investigated a burglar alarm from an East Street residence. Everything appeared okay and a card was left.

4:05 p.m. The dog officer was notified of a dog running in and out of traffic on Concord Street.

February 20

12:38 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

5:26 p.m. An electrical pole was reported leaning at Cross and South Streets. Patrol had a negative find.

5:27 p.m. A vehicle backed into a fence on Concord Street.

February 21

11:32 a.m. Patrol assisted the owner of dogs in the street at River Road and the Concord line.

February 22

9:13 a.m. A child’s car seat was installed at the station.

12:20 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

3:12 p.m. A vehicle accident occurred at Westford and Curve Streets; there was no personal injury.

4:43 p.m. Illegal dumping was reported on Bedford Road; patrol had a negative find.

8:48 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

February 23

12:04 p.m. A debit card found on Westford Street was picked up by the owner.

2:16 p.m. Patrol advised kids throwing snowballs at Lowell Street and Orchard Acres Drive.

11:28 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

1:45 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

12:51 p.m. A carbon monoxide investigation was made at a Maple Street residence. No carbon monoxide was found.

6:28 p.m. A 49-year-old woman was transported with ALS to Emerson Hospital.

February 20

12:38 p.m. A medical emergency occurred when a seven-year-old boy caught his fingers in a treadmill. No transport was necessary
