A fine Halloween was had by all

To the Editor:

It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes an entire community to have a phenomenal Halloween. Our annual Halloween celebration in our Town Center was an absolute blast! According to official estimates, we had well over 500 folks come through. But to have a safe and fun evening required the cooperation of many. So on behalf of our community, we would like to thank all of the Center residents, the Carlisle Police Department, Carlisle DPW, folks who dropped off pumpkins to display on the rotary, the many who donated bags of candy, the Nash family for distributing it all and the many, many families who came out to enjoy the evening. It was absolutely magical for the little kids — and the big kids too! Thank you all.
