Kim Bovell, who has been a METCO tutor for the last two years at Concord-Carlisle High School, has been named the interim METCO Coordinator. The previous coordinator, Norma Dinnall, retired in June. Bovell, a product of the METCO program, is young, enthusiastic and ready to take the program to new heights. ...more

Deer alert
The five deer casualties reported on this week's Police Blotter should alert motorists to be on the lookout for deer on the roadway, particularly early in the morning and at dusk. Most New Englanders anticipate deer activity later in the fall, but this year, the herd seems to be moving early, so now is the time to be vigilant.
