CCHS Special Graduation Awards

At Concord-Carlisle High School graduation on on a rainy Saturday, June 9, 298 diplomas were awarded. The speaker was Ben Kendall of the Social Studies Department.

Three special graduation awards were presented:

· The inaugural Arthur Dulong Leadership Award established this year in honor of retiring principal Art Dulong was awarded to Matt Coogan of Concord.

· The Faculty Gold Medals, given to students with the highest scholastic averages were awarded to Carlisleans Pamela Anderson, Alexander Pease, David Tobin, and to Kimberly Miner of Concord.

· The John F. Donovan Memorial Flag Award is given to the best all-around young woman and best all-around young man in the graduating class who possess the qualities of dependability, leadership, service and patriotism to an outstanding degree. Dan Castelline of Concord and Arielle Spivey of Boston were award recipients.
