March 26

8:24 a.m. A bear was reported on South Street.

9:44 a.m. A tree crew blocking the roadway at Cross Street and Fielding Farm Drive created a traffic hazard and was advised to move.

9:53 a.m. A speed monitor was set up at West Street and Log Hill Road.

11:01 a.m. Patrol investigated a lifeline alert and determined the call was accidental.

11:30 a.m. A Maine resident was stopped at Bedford and River Roads and subsequently arrested for operating after suspension of his license.

12:39 p.m. A resident came to the station for legal advice.

2:59 p.m. A disabled vehicle at Morse Road and the Transfer Station created no hazard and was scheduled to be removed on March 27.

3:07 p.m. Patrol stood by on Westford Street to keep the peace.

10:53 p.m. Dispatch received a hang-up 911 call. The call was investigated and a report was taken which stated that the call was triggered by a domestic dispute.

March 27

8:55 a.m. A past vehicle accident at Brook and Maple Streets was logged.

9:40 a.m. A parking ticket was issued for a parking violation on School Street.

11:33 a.m. Keyspan was notified of a gas leak at Bingham Road and Pheasant Hill Lane.

1:22 p.m. A drive-through was requested because of kids in the parking lot at 22 Bedford Road.

2:11 p.m. A child's car seat was installed at the station.

2:11 p.m. NStar was advised of a power outage on Daniels Lane.

3:08 p.m. Patrol investigated possible surveyors on a Westford Street property; they checked okay.

3:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

4:17 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a carbon monoxide alarm on South Street.

6:43 p.m. The dog officer was notified of a dog complaint on Ledgeways.

March 28

9:33 a.m. A Carlisle resident was arrested on an Amesbury warrant for failure to pay a fine.

12:25 p.m. A bear was sighted on Russell Street.

1:08 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Church Street.

2:13 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at West and South Streets where a resident fell while walking and cut his head.

3:34 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at Rutland Street and Patch Meadow Lane where wires were arcing.

8:28 p.m. A Burlington woman was arrested at the scene of a vehicle accident where her car went into a telephone pole. She was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating to endanger and marked lane violation. The Fire Department ambulance and ALS responded and she was transported to the Lahey Clinic.

9:14 p.m. A bear was sighted on Russell Street.

March 29

9:20 a.m. NStar was notified of a branch on the wires on Bellows Hill Road.

9:38 a.m. A resident turned in a firearm at the station.

2:04 p.m. A toddler on property on Bellows Hill Road was returned home.

3:01 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Concord Street.

3:31 p.m. DPW was notified of a branch blocking part of the roadway at West and Acton Streets.

9:24 p.m. A bear was sighted at West and South Streets.

11:29 p.m. A bear was sighted on West Street.

March 30

10:30 a.m. A speed monitor was set up at West Street and Log Hill Road.

12:06 p.m. A suspicious male at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot checked okay.

2:56 p.m. A tree in the road at Bedford Road and Stoney Gate was removed by DPW.

6:33 p.m. A brush fire was reported on River Road.

10:53 p.m. A South Street resident reported possible gun shots. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

March 31

7:08 a.m. A South Street resident reported mailbox vandalism.

7:22 a.m. DPW was notified of a dead beaver at West Street and the Concord line.

7:26 a.m. A South Street resident reported mailbox vandalism.

8:39 a.m. Bicyclists riding four abreast at Concord and Russell Streets were stopped and advised.

10:18 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a brush fire at East and Maple Streets.

11:53 a.m. A deer was reported struck on East Street. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

3:17 p.m. A dead beaver was found at Concord Street and the Concord line; it was removed.

4:42 p.m. A vehicle blocking the parking lot at Maple Street and the Greenough Land lot was moved by the operator.

6:42 p.m. A Chelmsford resident was stopped on Lowell Street for a traffic violation and will be summonsed for driving with a suspended license.

8:17 p.m. A past black bear sighting on Acton Street was reported.

9:38 p.m. A past black bear sighting on Concord Street was reported.

April 1

2:03 a.m. A bear was sighted at East Street and Blaisdell Drive.

10:37 a.m. Patrol assisted the Bedford Police Department in looking for a vehicle wanted in Bedford.

11:01 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a grass and tree fire on Davis Road.

March 28

3:36 p.m. The Fire Department responded on Rutland Street for burning wires. NStar was notified.

5:55 p.m. A Fire Department officer was called to reset the fire alarm at Ferns.

8:29 p.m. A female driver was taken from the scene of a vehicle accident on Bedford Road to the Lahey Clinic. NStar and Verizon were notified of a broken utility pole.

March 30

3:18 p.m. A nine-year-old boy was transported to Emerson Hospital from Lowell Road in Concord by the Carlisle ambulance and crew. This was a mutual aid call from Concord Fire Department.

6:37 p.m. A brush fire in the front yard of a River Road residence was extinguished; no one was at the scene of the fire.

March 31

10:24 a.m. A smoke investigation in the area of East and Maple Streets was initiated by a report by the state fire tower. This was determined to be a legal, permitted fire.

April 1

11:05 a.m. The Fire Department extinguished an out-of-control brush fire on Davis Road.
